3 CD BGM Collection... Bootleg?

Post by DaemonCorps » Sat Nov 11, 2006 5:37 pm

Here's the eBay link

I already bought the set, but I noticed that right after I did, the seller had a new batch of the CD set put up for sale. Not to mention the set being $25 as opposed to the $40-$60 range.

Here's the item description:
You are bidding on a 3 Disc Premium Collection CD Box from Dragon Ball Z. Complete BGM collection for animation series "Dragon Ball Z." Features all three CDs worth of music included in the TV series and theatrical films. Please look below for a list of all the songs included with this set. INTERNATIONAL bidders please check my terms below before bidding.

From the way it's worded, it kinda looks like it's just the box that's being sold. I really hope it's not!

It looks legit. The exact same tracklist as it is on Play-Asia (but then again, that might not mean anything...).

I personally think $20 is a little steep for just the box. It's pretty, but not that pretty. :P

Ask to see the back! :o

The description says it's new and sealed.

And the sellers has 57,000+ feedback! Surely it's some kind of actual store that has high quantities of the same items... So I think you'll be alright. 8)

I am not quite sure. It could be a bootleg.

In the picture you can partially see the obi, but the price and the columbia records label are missig.
Also, I can't see any catalog number in the bottom left corner of the box case.

If you look closely at the pictures at CD Japan, Amazon Japan and Play Asia, you can see those marks.

His copy of "Legend of Dragonworld" is also missing the Columbia Music label. (Is there already a bootleg of this cd?) And he sells GT DragonBall GT disc (100% bootleg).

On the other hand his pictures could be edited versions that don't have the copyright marks.

Maye it is possible to ask him for some more scans before you pay. I don't kow if it's possible to cancel the deal in case the cd is a bootleg.

Here are some scans of the actual box for reference (obi, front and back).

Plenty of bootleggers get away with high feedback and sealed items. o_o

Also if they're a Power Seller, they can actually delete a lot of the negative feedback they get.
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"

Hmmm, well okay. :o

I've been thinking about getting a well-rounded CD collection of DBZ music, looks like this might be a good one to get! :D

Whoo hoo, just received this in the mail today!!! :D :D :D

I'm disappointed that the music from Movie 13 where they're fighting the second form of Hildegarn isn't on this. :(
