What was the point of the hand holding thing? You can place your hand anywhere on Goku and you'd get the same result. Sounds kinda like a forced joke.

I'm still shocked no one else tries to learn Shunkan Ido or Kai Kai. They're both super practical.

Maybe Goku was just messing with Vegeta, as in he is the one forcing the joke.

I think it'd be funnier if Vegeta just socked Goku in the back of his head (or roughly pushed down Goku's head), and told Goku to move it already. He already knows he doesn't have to hold hands, and probably feels Goku is messing with him. I'd love for Vegeta to tell Goku to piss off.

It was kind of funny for a moment when Vegeta was making a fuss about it, but it quickly passed and I forgot about it entirely. It was one of the few things I knew about going into the film and, by he way people were reacting when it leaked, it sounded like it was going to be a big deal that had to do with a new power-up or something.

Really, though, it ended up just being a goofy one-off gag that I had quickly forgotten.

It was a requirement for the ssjg ritual, it's not required for teleporting; that's why it's a different case. I can't know without hearing the tone of voice used, but the gag I think (atm) is Gokû is messing with Vegeta for some brief entertainment ala the Jump 08' special.
OR the gag is Vegeta reads too much into things and Gokû's just being sweet.

I'd need to hear Nozawa's delivery to know if Gokû's trolling him or not.

Sorry to go slightly off topic, but what's Kai Kai again? Like what's it do / who uses it? I'm not familiar with the name.

Not sure why people don't make it easy to understand here, but it's Instantaneous Movement. the Kai version of Goku's Instant Transmission.

The (presumably) final Bulma blog entry is up (http://ameblo.jp/dragonball2015/entry-12009105011.html). It ends how it began, with Freeza interrupting to boast about his resurrection. Hard to believe the 59 day countdown is already over! Of course, the blog hasn't had much new to tell us since the preview screenings happened. But the entries were definitely fun to read, especially all the ones with character interactions. I hope if there's another movie they come up with some interesting promotion like this again.

No idea what this is, but it features new animation. Freeza mentions Kami to Kami, so if I had to guess, this is before a broadcast of Battle of Gods. I seem to recall that they'd be reshowing the film to celebrate the new movie and judging by Twitter, that seems to be the case...?
