What's the dialogue between Beerus and Frieza like? Or Frieza's reaction when he "feels" Beerus' presence?

It actually looks good (for me at least) I find it funny that Freeza actually gave them 10 secs before he steps in, so basically all of them defeated a 1000 grunts in 10 secs since Freeza didnt move lol.dbzfan7 wrote:I didn't take Mr. Toriyama for the Bishōnen typedae428 wrote:Haven't you heard man? Well it's still probably darker than the Battle of Gods...)
Seriously speaking though, I don't think it's all that bad. It's just to be an aesthetic change which I honestly don't hate too much. While I'm not too fond of the idea of Gohan looking super skinny without any muscle, I will say that I do prefer that version compared to the ultra buff kid Gohan. Then again I am one of the few people that actually really likes Toriyama's modern style... So I can probably only speak for myself....

He actually didnt feel Beerus presence, he just saw him randomly and then got all nervous and such. While beerus was just "I dont care about your fight I'm just here for the food, also take your fighting somewhere else" also I think he's a bit cautious about Vegeta and Goku since after Whis said they would stand a chance against him if they learn to work together Beerus instantly got a sweat and said "hey dont give them any funny ideas"fadeddreams5 wrote:What's the dialogue between Beerus and Freeza like? So he got impatient after watching a bit, or did he literally give them 10 seconds to handle everyone?SansrivaaL wrote:It actually looks good (for me at least) I find it funny that Freeza actually gave them 10 secs before he steps in, so basically all of them defeated a 1000 grunts in 10 secs since Freeza didnt move lol.dbzfan7 wrote:I didn't take Mr. Toriyama for the Bishōnen typedae428 wrote:Haven't you heard man? Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I have a question!
Is Gokû's "Vegeta hold my hand." him messing with Vegeta to entertain himself, or is he sincere and being nice not realizing he's making Vegeta uncomfortable?

Freeza is as awesome as always. Bulma, too.TheGmGoken wrote:May I ask a basic question? How was the voice acting? Did the actors sound aged or...?
Vegeta sounds perhaps a tad more "gruff" than originally, but that's entirely in-character for him, so it doesn't really affect things for me.
Goku is the same as always, but there were times when Gohan's delivery sounded slightly slurred, like Nozawa was struggling a bit to keep up his more "proper" diction compared to his father's.
Kuririn is still recognizable, but as time goes on, Mayumi Tanaka seems to incorporate more and more of her "Luffy" voice, which perhaps isn't too surprising since she's voiced the latter character for 15 years at this point.
Natsuki Hanae as Jaco is more understated than Tsubasa Yonaga was in the Vomic, but it works for the character. He does a great deadpan delivery, mixed with funny moments where the character (thinks he) is doing something cool. (Also, I predict that certain Anglophone fans not familiar with the actor may go on a rage-trip about him being voiced by "an old woman"... not realizing that it's actually a young man with a high voice.)
Sorbet has a lower voice than you might expect for what amounts to a glorified space-koala, but it fits his character.
Tagoma sounds like every other character Kazuya Nakai has ever done, though his delivery is more formal here than, say, Roronoa Zoro.
Shisami has a low, gruff voice... so basically a Requisite Big Guy Voiced By Tetsu Inada.

He was askinf where Goku was and then the z-fighters that were present said he's not here and then he goes "fine I shall wait for 10 seconds , after that I shall deal with you" something like that but he definetly gave them a "juu byo" limit.dbzfan7 wrote:

For me at least it didnt look like he was teasing Vegeta at all, he was simply in a hurry.Chuquita wrote:I have a question!

Thanks! Did Golden Freeza sound more crazy and wild? I'm guessing due to facial expressions. Did Bluper SSJ have a different tone like other SS forms?SaiyaJedi wrote:TheGmGoken wrote:May I ask a basic question? How was the voice acting? Did the actors sound aged or...?Spoiler:

Either outcome would make me happy. Good to know, thanks!

Looking at those images, I realize for the first time that the numbers on the back (where the barcode would normally be) are inside jokes. The string of "7"s obviously references the seven Dragon Balls, but then below that you have "595851059581" — "59" meaning "Goku", "58" being "Gohan", and "510" being "Goten".

Julian, was the full staff printed in a pamphlet that came with the ticket?
Thank you! I'm glad to see the original concept art from Toriyama is included.

I'm sure you will find Vegeta's reaction worthwhile. He definetly is a tsundere.Chuquita wrote:Sincerity it is then. :3SansrivaaL wrote:For me at least it didnt look like he was teasing Vegeta at all, he was simply in a hurry.Chuquita wrote:I have a question!

Seeing how Shisami was made out to be rather important in the film since he was on the same level as Tagoma, but not advertised, I was wondering if Toriyama designed him or not. Guess I got my question answered.

Ootsuka Ken--who is now busy working on Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold for Toei Animation and Bridge--tweeted that he worked on Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F. That is nice to know, seeing how bad available staff availability seemed to be.

Wait, Toriyama's Pilaf is green? Was he always like this in the manga?
And 18's hair is white? O.o

I'd be really interested to read your thoughts on the animation after you see the film, Jacob. It's pretty blandly boarded for the most part, as you've rightly pointed out in the past. That said there are some absolutely stellar bits of animation.JulieYBM wrote:Ootsuka Ken--who is now busy working on Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold for Toei Animation and Bridge--tweeted that he worked on Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F.
