I don't think Heroes will ever come over, completely different market, kids aren't into Dragon Ball Z and collecting cards like they were 15 years ago.
I see cards being sold at most stores, and I let my nephews play Heroes and they wouldn't put it down.

Yeah. I was hoping it would get that KOF treatment with all of those pretty sprites. One can dream.
Then again, Dragon ball was never big on really smooth animation... usually.
Yeah, but Hyper Dragon Ball Z looks better and it's fan made.... I was hoping this game would at least be on par with it.
Glad ArcSys knows what makes a Butouden game, Butouden, altough the split-screen is gone, It's good to see dual-layered stages and counter options during the super attacks (altough the waiting time is too long for my tastes) still going strong. Bummed out that character-specific themes aren't returning (or don't seem to) but atleast it sounds good.
Might as well have called the game Supersonic Warriors 3.

I'm playing the demo now, it actually looks a lot better on the 3DS than it does in the youtube videos, and the 3D adds a nice touch.... I'm looking forward to the full game.

Has Bandai even announced plans for a US release yet? I haven't seen any news.

Just reposting this since I still don't know what to do. I don't want to get the game and not be able to play it.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Its because no one knows. It would be safe not to pre-order and wait for a patch or something.
There could possibly be a new exploit found, but I wouldn't bet on it being soon. Your only other option would be to get a Gateway flashcart (requires 3DS firmware 9.2 or below), and use gateway to dump the ROM from the cart and play it from your SD card.
Anyone got a list of currently confirmed playable characters? I don't trust the wiki since it says Super Gogeta and I haven't seen any evidence of him as non-support yet.

Sadly, Golden frieza is not playable. You can clearly see him as a Z-assist on the Official Website... The same for SsGOD Bejita. We have just 21 playable characters for now. 2 GodKu, but why ? And even Whis is a Z-Assist....
