The blue hair looks cool on goku,but on vegeta,eh not so much.

I think it looks great on both of them, the tone Toriyama used on his sketch is pretty bad, when they're surrounded by the aura whilst in motion, it looks much better.

I won't agree on such a thing because I believed it looked beautiful from the moment I saw the toy figures.

i didnt like the blue on the toys.

the current one looks far better.
and I'm pretty sure in good animation and motion they will look even better.

Nope. Still as bad as when I first saw it. Harmless yes. Still an ugly design yes. Better than SS GOD? HELL YEA. So..it's like a 5/10 maybe 4/10.

Maybe he just thought his hair was perfect and that SSJ3 was hideous, hence his hair never really changes much with each transformation.

I think the blue has grown on me having seen it more in the context of the film animation. There's a silvery sort of tone to it, which I'd imagine, in real life, could have a sort of iridescent shimmer like platinum blonde.

Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F is not a movie, it's a one-hour-and-a-half-long episode. On the contrary of Battle of Gods, this new production doesn't have a well-crafted scenario and leans over basics, classic elements. A bad guy around? Gotta take him out. Period. Is it a bad thing? Not really since it is the very essence of what made the franchise successful in the 90s. Besides, the character designs and the environments were carefully made, the shapes are more rectangular, resulting with edgier pictures, making us rediscover that atmosphere from back there from the first few minutes, as nostalgia strikes the viewer.

For the first time in years, the Z Team is on the front line to give us sparkles in the eyes and make fans almost shed tears of joy. How nice to see Krilin fighting on his master Kame Sennin's sides, or Ten Shin Han knock out his opponents with ease, or Son Gohan let his anger explode when facing the tyrant's army. The plot follows the usual codes from back then and focuses on power increases, transformations, all of this being wrapped in a touch of humor and intense moments that will have the viewer smile or feel a punch in the guts depending on the on-going events. The various on-screen effects are pretty well done, except for a few 3D models ruining some views, which will surely only look worse as years go by.

In other words and in a nutshell, Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F is a precious pearl that explodes your eyes, masturbates your neurones, gives you chills and easily puts you under its spell with its crazy universe. Freezer is back, more evil and psychotic than ever. Overenergized battles, gigantic energy blasts, dramatic shifts in situations: all the ingredients are good, the recipe works, the plate is showered in a thousand tasty flavours. The world wanted fan service? Good, because Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F is served to you on a silver plate, being a movie you'll want to see without overthinking things and that will have you craving to watch it all over and over again.

VERDICT: 4 stars out of 5

Seems like there are people that aren't missing the chance to bash this movie even more, thanks to the bad ratings of this site (even though already increased to 3.12. It was 2.71 yesterday...)

I never took ratings as a fact. Sure its great to know that the things that I love are well received and rated high. But take others opinions as facts to say this movie sucks, its stupid and naive. The same way some people are rating it with 1 star, others are giving 5 stars. This site its no different from myanimelist.com or any other review site. People just state their opinion. Some, if things don't go as they wanted ( plotwise, their favorite character to appear/shine, etc..) may not hesitate giving it 1 star. There are the trolls too.

Anyway, I dediced to make some homework and find some comparions:
BOG - 3.56 stars. I think we all know how well BOG did in Japan (3 billions yen)

Now, the most interesting:
One Piece Film Z - 3.27 stars. Best selling OP movie and Toei best profit in this last years is rated lower than BOG here. While in numbers, OPZ sold more than the double than BOG (6.8 billions yen)...

So using this site to say the movie will flop, like some people are doing, is inaccuracy.
