Maybe Vegeta's trying to touch as little of Gokû's hand as possible (even though Vegeta is wearing gloves because that's still not enough protection XD ). And you'd think they'd be next to each other instead of reaching around like that. =u= But maybe the scene itself explains that visually.

Gokû unintentionally flustering Vegeta is fun in a different way from Gokû trolling Vegeta to entertain himself ala the 08' special.

I think it's intentional. If you look at the movie pamphlet, there is a screen of Goku laughing after Vegeta takes his hand.

I thought it was Gokû trolling him too, because both BOG and the 08' special set the precedent for "Trolling Vegeta is one of Gokû's hobbies now along with reading and sports oh Movie 8" but someone who saw the movie confirmed Gokû did this with no ulterior motives.

For me at least it didnt look like he was teasing Vegeta at all, he was simply in a hurry.

Which is why I'm all to see this scene.

Yes, but Vegeta loathed every minute of it, and chose to risk getting killed over fusing a second time. Vegeta is the type who on the inside is really a good guy, but who refuses to show any love, affection, or brotherlyness, especially not with Goku, his ultimate rival. That's why it was such a huge deal when he hugged Trunks, and when he went off on Beerus for smacking Bulma.

The only time limit is probably their stamina like SSJ1.

After seeing a few illustrations of SSGSS Goku, I noticed his hairstyle is a little different from the usual SSJ hair, more notably the one or two bangs(?) sticking out

It's not supposed to be different though. That's just how Toriyama has been drawing Goku's hair recently (though that image specifically is from Yamamuro's version of the form, it's basically traced off Toriyama's).

Yamamuro's was the first one I found with a good head shot of Goku, so that's what I went with.
Wow, that Luffy x Goku picture must have been about 3 years old. Has it really been that long since the last time Toriyama drew SSJ Goku? Although I shouldn't be so surprised since he isn't in serialization anymore.
