Goku's fight with Freeza is by far the best in the series and in terms of a moment,based on what I've read I think Vegeta stomping on Freeza is going to be my best.

Gohan killing Cell. Specifically, the dub version. The dire circumstances, Vegeta's distraction, the music cues, "NOW'S YOUR CHANCE!"...just perfect. Best episode of the series.

Vegeta vs Recoome, no contest. It's extremely short but some of the best fight choreography/animation to date. It puts the Cell fight to shame. It's also remarkable faithful to the manga.

Best Fight: Z-Fighters vs. Vegeta. Although, on another day, it would be Goku vs. Freeza or Goku vs. Cell.

Best Moment: Vegeta's "Goku is No.1" speech. Hands down.

The manga version is a bit brief but is very potent and deep. The anime version of the speech though, is just so many shades of awesome. Especially the dubbed version. You finally get the witness Vegeta's psyche as it developed through the series via flashbacks and see how much he changed as a man with the experiences he goes through and how much Goku's actions changed the complexion of his character. Vegeta finally realizes why Goku has always been one step ahead of him, and instead of feeling bitter and angry, he comes to peace with himself and accepts that Goku is just simply superior to him. He finally lets go of his grudge and no longer saw Goku as his enemy, but as his friendly rival. Vegeta won his greatest battle and he didn't even have to throw a punch. His character had come full circle. Of all the deep and poignant moments the franchise has ever provided, that speech was the most deep and poignant moment ever in Dragon Ball.

Goku & friends vs Vegeta. The most intense and artful pendulum of conflict ever presented in the series.

For sheer animation quality, Goku vs Beerus from when they go underground onward.

In the world of movies, pretty much the entirety of the action scenes from movie 1. Favorite art style and my favorite time period in the story in general. Also, the soundtrack (Kikuchi score) that plays during Goku's fight with the spice rack, along with the mash-up BGM that's used when Piccolo and Goku fight together...unbelievably good.

Best fight for me is SSJ2Goku vs Majin Vegeta, that fight was epic! next is probably the Goku vs Freeza fight in RoF.
Best Moment almost all of Vegeta's hardcore speech, especially the ''Kakaroto, omae ga numba 1 da'' but it seems all his respect for Goku went down the hill in RoF since while the fight was going on he interrupts them by punching and kicking Goku.

Best fight in the manga to me has to go to Piccolo Jr. vs Goku, with the best moment in a fight easily going to the Kamehameha vs Galick Gun (transformations not included).

Best fight in the anime is probably Majin Vegeta vs SSJ2 Goku, with the best moment going to Beerus vs SSJ Goku in the sky, mainly because of the soundtrack and the animation. I might change my mind on the latter, I'm just not remembering much today.

I love how amazing Goten and Trunks are in this movie. That double kamehameha was badass and those hits had impact. It's a shame I haven't edited with it.

If Kid Buu slapped Bulma, Vegeta would have become a SSJ3 out of rage and then one shot Kid Buu. While a confused and somewhat angered Goku, still charging the Genki Dama, would have exclaimed, "What the fuck?! Now who am I gonna throw this fucking huge thing at!?"
