So, it's been about 7 years since the 2008 Jump Super Anime Tour Special came out. Orange Hero was the ending song. There was never a full version. Why is that? Was it licensing? Was it never made into a full song? I've always wondered why it never had a full version released.

The 2008 OVA was originally meant to be a one time thing for Dragon Ball. I doubt "Orange Hero" was written with intention of releasing a full version of it because what would be the point? The OVA was never planned to get a proper home release.

I'd guess it's caught up in legalities somehow; which is a shame because I really liked Orange Hero when it came out and I still really like it. I've heard the 2nd verse via YouTube of that concert. The sound of it really fits Gokû's frame of mind in the 08' special, imo.
