Eeew, no no no No NO! Broli is the worst thing to happen to this series and the fandom around it. The only new animation I want of Broli is a video of him dying graphically in a freak greasefire.

It's strange, I was one of the people who didn't care whether or not Dragon Ball continued and if I had a choice in the matter, I would rather it not to; and yet, here I am super excited about this regardless of how good or bad it may potentially be.

You know, that's exactly how I feel too. It's definitely Toriyama's involvement tho. If he weren't involved or only had minimal involvement like pre-BoG Anime only productions, I'd probably steer clear of it fearing another GT, but knowing Toriyama is apparently writing the story for this has me hopeful.

Let's just hope this wipes GT out of existence entirely from canon... or hey, Maybe GT was one of the 12 universes? haha.

They most probably will otherwise TOEI would have just put Super on before instead of Buu Kai, if it didn't incorporate the stuff from the movies.

Dragon Ball Super is the first series to list a company other than Toei, Toei Animation and Fuji TV under 制作. Yomiko was also involved in the production of Yuu Yuu Hakusho, which also aired on Fuji TV.

Wow, don't have words for this. I saw the first post in this thread when it had 0 replies and I thought that it was just some new Dragon Ball anime rumor like we've seen before hundreds of times. It's absolutely unbelievable that this is actually happening.

Regarding this new series, I really hope it's between Fukkatsu no F and EoZ. That ending was perfect in my opinion. Dragon Ball is not the kind of series that should have a finality feel to it. Also, no one shows their true power in EoZ so that period before it and after the last movie is the perfect blank canvas.

Don't know about that, I really disliked EoZ and hope they just steamroll over GT with DBS. I wouldn't mind them retconning EoZ to be completely honest.

If DBS airs right after Kai then I would hope that it airs right after Goku leaves off Uub. They said after Buu so it can air anywhere between Freeza and Uub. Not to mention having take place after Uub will not confused younger fans and casuals who are new to DB if they are watching Kai on TV right now in Japan.
