I like both for different reasons, most of which I've opined about before but may one day break down again.

Right now the new material is seriously janking with the manga/Z ending it apparently precedes though, and that is kind of weird.

Having Freeza return and become stronger again made more sense then having the idea of fusing two #17's into one which always sound kinda dumb to me.
So expanding on an underused villain is worse than reusing one for a third time? Okay.

I'm not saying the Super 17 saga is brilliant or that GT is perfect, its not which is why I'm no more critical of it than the rest of the series. I'm just with EXBadguy on this, if Toei made Shiny Freeza, SSGSS, etc I doubt it'd be as easily accepted.

I think DBGT was leagues better than these new movies (which I dislike very strongly).

Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

This. Though I can say nothing definite about RoF until I watch it.

He almost got Videl killed in Battle of Gods tho.
