2 billions is already a good mark. Not every anime can reach that.
Not even with a romantic movie, Naruto for example, reached that number.

But this is Dragon Ball, so its normal we having high expectations and we aren't still satisfied.

We still don't know how many weeks the movie will be on theaters?

It's easily going to surpass Battle of Gods though; they just set the bar really high on this one. And it's reachable.

From the looks of it Thursday's gross won't be anything like yesterday. It seems to be acting like any ordinary weekday which probably shouldn't be that surprising because its not a actually a Golden Week holiday today (or tommorow).

IMPORTANT

I do have to let people know that in about 9 hours I'll be heading off on the start of my holiday to Tokyo for 2 weeks. Supposedly I can get a internet connection when I'm there but there's always the chance that I won't as well.

Just encase I can't get online I'm going to leave a link before I go to the thread thats giving out the estimates and actuals and if someone else here could keep an eye on it and then post that info back on here so people can keep track of how its doing it'd be appreciated.

If I can get online though I'll post here and then I can continue to do it myself.

Box Office Mojo has the numbers for the film as well, so that should be sufficient.

Oh well how about that, BOM hadn't updated most of their international box office figures since last November. I actually checked a couple hours ago and that Japanese weekly gross wasn't there so that's just been put up.

It'd make things a lot easier if they got back on that because the movie also opens in Hong Kong and Taiwan tommorow and I have no idea how id find info for that, it looks like they have updated Hong Kong too.

The gross listed there isn't pinpoint accurate but it's still 99% accurate.

Looks like the daily estimate wasn't put up before I had to leave which is now. At a guess I'd say it did something like ¥30-35 million today.

That's really good so far. And there is still 5 more days left of Golden Week. I think RF could certainly make ¥1 billion yen in that time.

I just noticed that the guy who makes the estimates has made a mistake in his total gross because he added Fridays gross onto Wednesday instead of Thursdays.

The estimated gross as of Friday should be ¥2.229 billion ($18.73 million).
