First of all...wow that scream. That's probably easily one of the most horrifying screams Sean has ever done, just because of how...different it sounds. He bellows it, but the way his voice actually breaks...it doesn't usually do that. It's usually so full of power and oomph...but not there.Sin wrote:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBmpHWISvEQ
This scene where Goku has a nightmare that Android 17 & 18 arrive whilst he is still ill, the part where 18 snaps Chi-Chi's neck always got me, although I didn't watch the Funimation Dub so the music placement kinda breaks the feeling in the linked clip.

Just double checked and you're right. Thanks for the clarification.FortuneSSJ wrote:Pretty sure ts from World's Strongest.Lord Beerus wrote:Yikes. Where the hell is that from?Deathbringer wrote:Spoiler:

I'm scared by how much I like it.HG-Project wrote:Momoiro Clover's "Pledge of Z."

If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

Yeah, now talking about it. I remember to get scared of the first episodes when he appeared too.BlazingFiddlesticks wrote:Baby was dark, man.FortuneSSJ wrote:Yup. Baby Vegeta reveals himself to Trunks
Well, these two episodes used to scare me a lot. Everyone was so dark.
1st rule in DBZ fights: You always let your opponent power up. If you cheat and try to interrupt him, you will forced to back off.SPRSYJN wrote:The scene in the anime where cell finally absorbed the last android, there's this crazy dark and twisted scene that plays, it's almost hellish and it shows the corpses of the Z-fighters. And then, the most beautiful plot twist in this series happened.veggiechan wrote: But the most terrifying thing of all to my ~9 year old self was seeing that Freeza survived and was coming back to Earth with King Cold, knowing that no one had a chance in hell at beating him once he landed
