I'd love if this really did take place after EOZ and the series began by referencing this:

" I am only able to show you the story of Son Goku, his many friends, and the Dragon Balls, up to this point, the end. Even after this, we can probably expect that there will still be various troubles, no different than before. But somehow, they're definitely going to overcome them... It will be all right, because on Earth, there are some incredible guys...!!"

"I seem to remember once saying long ago that I am only able to show you the story of Son Goku, his many friends and the Dragon Balls up to this point... but now I'd like to tell you... what happens, next."

If we can't have Kageyama back, there's a part of me who thinks the guy who sung "Fight it out!" would make a good placement. The style of the vocals really captured the tone of the old series.

I'm not sure. Apparently, Joji Yanami is not doing so well these days.

If we can't have "Kaio" doing narration, I would accept Whis. He'll never be able to truly replace Yanami, but I think he's the next best thing for the modern era.

I'm ok with Whis doing narration if we do have it. It would be quite interesting to see how that plays out.

For me, being confined by the parameters of the final chapter is such an important thing for my expectations, as it, hopefully, will keep whatever plot direction 'Super' goes in somewhat grounded...

Having said that - from BoG and RoF, we've seen the Universe expanded by a factor of 12, 2 new Saiyan transformations and a couple of Gods. So yeah.

I think Whis providing narration would be fantastic. But yeah, it just wouldn't be the same without Yanami.

I'm sure sooner or later the series will have Goku go way of Heisei Godzilla, growing so powerful he hits critical mass. Maybe Alphamon's fate would work too, Goku is so powerful that he cannot exist in normal space. Then again I'm just rambling about possibilities that may never come about...still excited for super though.

While I doubt that's likely, it'd honestly be really cool if it happened.

If Whis was to narrate, I want him to do it Deadpool style. Constantly breaking the wall, making snark and snide remarks and having banter with Beerus. That would make Dragon Ball Super amazing by default.

I love Nozawa, but that would be too much of her when she already voices Goku, Gohan and Goten (and is apparently reprising all three roles according to the press release).

I am always up for fun Gokû narration because I feel like he'd just be concentrating on whatever is interesting to him and generally Gokûing all over the place X3, but I kind of wanna hear Whis and Beerus duel narrate a little more.

I'd take either one though, both are good for me.
