I'd like to see a Himura Kenshin / Vash the Stampede-esque character introduced, someone who absolutely refuses to kill. Maybe develop Oob that way. Though it'd probably be just a rehash of Gohan but on a bigger scale.

It's crazy for me to sit and think about the new transformations that might occur. Don't jump down my throat...but with each new transformation I kinda care less and less for it. I reckon the new movie has Goku and Vegeta? with Blue hair. it reminded me of those old pictures from back in the day were they would invert the colors and call it like Super Saiyan 6 or 7!! haha I want Oob to be the new hero so bad I can't stand it! I know that won't work and eventually Goku or Vegeta will have to show up and save the day.

I agree with you. The blue haired super saiyan is just like the fan made stuff you would see over the years. It's very unoriginal by Akira Toriyama. Transformations are boring now, they don't wow me like they used to.

Seeing Goku go Super Saiyan for the first time, Trunks arriving from the future and going Super Saiyan, Vegeta's first Super Saiyan transformation, Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 transformation and Goku's Super Saiyan 3 was great. But it needs to stop now, it's getting boring.

Well, about Uub. You know, in Europe and USA, we are acustomed to racial diversity. I always loved Uub as a kid, he was so cool in design.
But, I am afraid, that Japanese kids (Japan is actually xenophobic nation, where you have a harder time being even from Korea or China), would have a hard time to feel into protagonist of african origin.
Did you ever saw a different protagonist in anime, than of Euro-asian origin?
This is one of the reason I think that Uub isn't as popular as he would be.

PS: anyone remember the page Black Goku, where there were sprites of the main characters redesigned to be afro-american? That was cool!

Yeah, that's unfortunate. Uub always looked cool to me, I liked the hairstyle as a sort of reverse version of Buu's antenna thing.

Well, it's still not technically here. It's only 9PM on the 8th in Japan right now, and the site probably won't update in the morning?

Anyway, I'm just going to regurgitate my previous thoughts on the announcement. Prior to Dragon Ball Super's reveal, the fact that they were using a panel from early DB and that it was being announced on Piccolo Day made me think it might be print editions for the first half of the Full Color manga. Now though? I'm not sure what it will be, or if it will only be one thing. If it is related to Super, I'm going to assume we won't be getting anything spectacular. Maybe a logo, splash art of our standard heroes (possibly revealing a bit more about the specific time frame depending on who is included and their outfits), and maybe a bit more of a (still generic) summary.

I don't think Uub is supposed to be of any specific race or nationality, but I always pictured him as Native American because of his mohawk

I don't think that's what he was asking, but rather what it has to do with real life stuff like potential Super news.
