Sculpts take a bit of time to create, so it depends on the designs being used. We probably won't see new characters or old characters with new outfits (if there are any) for a while, especially if the series didn't begin basic production too long before the series's announcement. We may see some pop up soon if the outfits are mostly recycled though. Goku in his normal orange dogi, the F dogi or end of Z dogi would potentially shine a light in the right direction at least.

I'm ready for Super. Just bought a DVR expander so I have enough space to save every episode when it finally airs! :D I feel like a little kid again this is great.

I notice on the timeline that the Garlic Jr saga was mention, but not the events of DBZ Movie 1? I find that odd since that saga can't happen without DBZ Movie 1 taken place.

Just because M1 wasn't mentioned doesn't mean it didn't happen. The events of the movie are shown through flashbacks in the arc itself, meaning that it really did happen.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I imagine Funi might sub it at the same speed as OP.
I wouldn't expect any animation any earlier than the tail end of June.
We could easily get promo art by the end of the month tho.

So, 8pm July 4th Eastern Time? I'll see if I can find a stream and tune it in.

July 5th is not the official date, it is an estimate based off of when Kai ends. TOEI/Fuji tv may very well take a couple weeks break.

With that time slot? Doubtful they would take a break any longer than one week.

Unless it's from a legal service like FUNimation or Crunchyroll, there will be no more discussion about streams. Please re-read the section rules.

They could show repeats of Kai, break Battle of Gods into episodes, or if we're really lucky, show Revival of F.

I think they'll start it right off after Kai's over the next week. They don't take breaks between the end and start of new precure seasons.

I could see a break week though if it's definitely post-F, just to get everyone on the same page since it jumps back before EoZ.

Japanese TV doesn't really do reruns during a show's normal timeslot the way American TV does. They also don't really do breaks between an ending show and a new show. Toriko premiered the week after Kai 1.0, and ended the week before Kai 2.0, for instance. At most we might get some kind of promotional TV special before the premiere of Super, but I feel like that might only happen if there are serious production delays.

Battle of Gods has at least four episodes worth of content, which would mean Super wouldn't premiere until August.

Resurrection F will definitely not air on free TV before its release on home video. It would probably air Spring 2016 at the earliest.

In that case it's July 5 unless there's some national holiday or big event/game already planned

I don't see the need to ask that question. Every post after that one you quoted was discussing that very subject and provided the answer.

Well, again, I am drunk as hell and so I have a proposal to anyone with ''superpowers'' on this forum:
It would be great if this topic was sticky, so that it is first in the section as this is the official whatever thread.
What dou think?
Because everytime I go to DB Super section, I misclick on some uninteresting speculation sauce thread and it saddens me a lot.

Thank you very much if it is relevant like anyhow... Thanks.
