Infinite World was made for the fans who didn't have a PS3 and 360 at the time. That's why Infinite World was a $20 game when it was first release since it was bargain bin title. I think XV2 will be on the PS4, XO and PC. I think this will be our last DBZ game on the PS3 and 360. Sorry, but I think it's time to move on to next gen systems since developers are starting to move on next gen already. The PS4 and XO are already been out for a year and half already. Heck the 360 will be 10 years old soon and hard to believe it been that long. 2005 does feel like yesterday to a lot of us here.

I think Xenoverse will the last Dragon Ball game on PS3 and 360, period. As far as I know, Xenoverse overall sold better on PS4 and XB1 than it did on PS3 and 360, so I think BN may finally ditch the PS3 and 360 platforms and have Xenoverse 2 be full next gen.

BOZ was out for the that long as well when they announced XV.

That's not really the same thing, though. That game was done by an entirely different developer and wasn't a sequel to anything, whereas XV was by Dimps and in production while BoZ was in the spotlight at the time. Dimps already jumping to another installment and having content to show for it not long after the first installment's release is a bit more unlikely. Not flat out impossible, but definitely unlikely.

I wonder, what would happen if a Xenoverse 2 was a console exclusive. Would it have more crazy features than a multi-platformed game. I ask this becuz of this game, those who know that series know what happened when it got transitioned to multi-platform.

Expect for 2012 in Japan and 2013 in the rest of the world. Ultimate Bast in Japan was the last DB game for the consoles in Japan until 2014. Two and half years later.

Yeah, those years are an exception. But prior to that, Bandai had been pumping out Dragon Ball games yearly.

That's not how game development works, being multiplatform doesn't mean fewer modes or features.

Battle of Z came out in January 2014, as far as financials go (Fiscal Year) that's still the same year as most of 2013, Japan's fiscal year goes from April 1st to March 31st of the following year, so if you count DBZ for Kinect and Budokai HD they never stopped releasing them yearly.

We need Tenkaichi HD collection for this year and Xenoverse 2 for the year after that. Xenoverse 2 can focus on the movies and then XV 3 will be ready for Super by then.

Runtime. I doubt Super will be done by fall - you could introduce characters up to a certain point, but then you either make people pay more for the next saga through DLC or make a game destined to be incomplete and overshadowed.

Its ok, I just got 100% Equipment and Mixing! Now to get Devilman's accessory/top from the DLC Pack 1's 1st PQ and I'll be done with that too. Then I'll need to buy DLC Pack 2 to start it all over again lol

Considering what they've done with the current game (the new movie's content coming into DLC) I can't at all imagine them releasing a Xenoverse game during Super's airing and not including anything from Super in it. Yes, it might be 'incomplete', and DLC may have to be released later, but they're not going to leave out what's current in the DB series.

New characters, outfits or techniques from Super would be fine in a future game as fan service, but I would prefer if they don't try to tackle Super's story just for the sake of covering it. If we get multiple arcs in the new series, they can include whatever they have finished I don't want to be playing an incomplete story though, and then have to pay for an incomplete story DLC pack, and then another...

As an example, I don't want them giving us Super's equivalent of Namek up to Vegeta's battle with Dodoria, then get another 3 DLC packs that reach to the battle with first form Freeza...but never actually getting the rest of the battle with Freeza because it's not been created/aired.

Had a few matches last night, 1 of which was a Perfect Match...No Damage...against a guy with over 6000BP

If XV2 is out by 2016 or 2017 then the show may be done by then. We don't know how long Super will last since it may be just as short as GT, or if not shorter. It would make more sense for Namco Bandai to jump on the most popular current DB show at the moment now then later. They want jump on the hype train as soon as possible. I can see DBZ Movies 1-13 being DLC similar how GT was in the first game. Turles, Lord Slug, Coola, and Hatchiyack can be apart of a DLC pack. DLC pack 2 can have Garlic Jr, #13, Bojack and Tapion.
