So, are they selling that separate over at Play-Asia? Or what's the deal with that... Was I supposed to add it to my basket as a preorder bonus?

Yes, they sell the preorder bonuses seperately I believe. If you search hard enough, you'll find the Jump Superstars Postcard book for sale at play-asia.

That's kinda lame that they're doing that since it's a promotional item that's NOT supposed to be sold. But oh well, who cares... I'm stoked I'm getting Jump Ultimate Stars in a couple days! :D

The site has been updated with 3 new videos(the top 3), and the missing sections are now clickable.

God, my grandma's internet is horrible >_>

Well, since I haven't been able to reply in so long, or pose any questions, due to me being at my grandma's house all Thanksgiving vacation, and her having Dial-up. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't up trying to get onto the JUS website whilst everyone else was eating turkey and such :P

But, I've been able to check what I have been, and first comments, are

Bo•Bo•Bo vs Ho•Ho•Ho
and
Dragonball vs Basketball

Made me cry I laughed so hard

But I also have two questions..

Where... is Hikaru no Go...?
I've already ordered the game (waiting for it to come in, should be around Thursday ^^;) and I noticed this as I came home, and checked the site immediately. I thought it could've been Sasuke_Chidori's error in the first post that Hikaru no Go wasn't mentioned. But I checked the site and I searched my best, and haven't been able to locate it.

I mean, they've updated almost every character roster (will get to that in a second) and I have yet to see Hikaru no Go. Was it taken out...? I understand that it had only 1 character, but they could easily expand that. Throw in Akira Toya, Kimihiro, Toya Meijin.. >_>

Second question, I looked at Dragon Ball's character count to see 13 characters.
I counted the characters in JSS (Including Help Komas) and found 13. (well, not Senzu bean and Potara earring because well.. yea)

So.. do 13 characters mean support characters and up? It has to be.. Unless they've taken out characters. Which would kinda make sense due to Hikaru no Go's sudden disappearance.

Because, adding in Majin Buu, Frieza (Will Cell appear?) Trunks, Vegetto, and others (perhaps) as at least support komas, then that could give you about 13 characters including the support and up from last game. Maybe they have a 6 koma 'Mystic (sorry for the term.. can't think of a better name other than Ultimate) Gohan'. He would be another character altogether I'd think. Like maybe Goku/Vegeta's 7 koma is now totally Vegetto, and he's not an alternate like Gotenks or an attack like JSS.

These questions have been bothering me. Maybe someone can help shed light on these questions, or just ponder it as well.

Yeah... Hikaru no Go's sudden exclusion from the game came as a shock to me when I read it on a different website... I really enjoyed that manga! Why they'd do that, I don't know. From what I heard, it was fairly popular.

Back(again..) with the game, and with some first impressions. I've had it for a while..maybe a few days. I would just like to say the fighting system has improved so much. More charecters, more everything. Any gripe within the first game is improved upon here. If there was only one game you could ever import for the DS, this should be that game. P.S...I love having a playable Train Heartnet. :D

I should have JUS tomorrow, but probably won't play yet. I am still busy with my Wii and Zelda.

Awesome. Yay for feedback. ^^;

I watched the videos under the 'ACTION' section and was awestruck by the combos I saw being pulled off, and the dashing and I love how the models flow so well now. The last game seemed very stiff in terms of animations, and sometimes some moves were stiff as well. (However I thought Kakashi was done really well animated-wise).

I can't wait for mine to come in ^__^

How is Zelda, BTW? I'm deciding between that and Tenkaichi 2 (Sparking! NEO, whichever you prefer) for my first game.

Zelda hands down. It is one of the best Zelda games, possibly even better than Ocarina of Time... but I won't make a final decision until I beat this one first.

 ..
Seriously?
Good Lord o___o

That's.. pretty good.. XD

How does the Wii control for it? Like, is it responsive or are there certain delays and such? I'm getting one regardless, just curious since this is a new type of technology with questionable functionality as far as I know.

Agh! Off topic!

Back on topic: So does anyone know how the character count works? I don't guess an answer could appear, even from Sasuke_Chidori, since it seems that getting every character will be a while for everyone.

The game's only been out about a week now, but I'd like to dispell this uncertainty concerning the line-up, since that's been the most enigmatic portion of this game :?

Yea, just PM questions to avoid going off topic too much.

Anyways, did anyone who ordered from play-asia receive the bonus with it?

My friend pre-ordered from play-asia, and he said they sent him an email that they were selling the preorder bonus seperate.(It's on the site for 9.99) I got my preorder bonus free at NCSX.com(only for early preorders.) The art book is really nice. I'll post some links to pictures of Ultimate Stars that i've taken. I too have to put in time with my wii, but this game is really so much fun. I just played a wi-fi match. Pretty seamless, and its really easy to get into wi-fi mode. Also, if you own the first game, you'll probably breeze through some parts of the menus. It just seems so easy after playing the first Jump game. The music is way better, they actually took the time to put a diffrent song for every level. The levels are way bigger and are interactive(scenery moves around, cannons shoot at you, ect.) Also, 1 thing I should note is the game is a little bit slower. This is much better. It isn't as choppy and it feels perfectly seamless. It's harder to go back to Super Stars, mainly because the animations are choppy, and the fighting is a little too unbalanced and fast...it just doesn't feel right. I should add in that the art book is SMALL. That thing is like ..the size of a graphic novel, but skinnier. It was amazing seeing it for the first time. The art inside of it is beautiful.

EDIT: I don't know what you mean by charecter count, but I believe there are 70+ charecters, counting transformations and things like that...ONE more thing..Goku is pretty cool in this game. They decided to give him some new moves. He works well. Haven't upgraded my Dragon Ball charecters much though, so I haven't played with "Ho-Ho-Ho" :P

Got it yesterday and loving it. Ya' know what, I'll make a new thread for it. This thread is about the website for the game.
