I agree completely. Heck this is the guy who can
fight with his eyes closed.
But seeing Goku one inch punch Freeza makes up for everything, that moment was perfect.
And the hand to hand fight scene choreography was pretty nice, seeing DBZ characters use proper martial arts moves is something I want to see happen a whole lot more.

Goku can't sense the ki of the ring even when it's close to him?

Also, I can still believe that he can be caught off guard when he's not at all focused on an opponent, especially when he doesn't believe there is any threat besides what he's already primarily focused on.
It's just not a stretch to me.

I just thought that was when it was inside. Not when it's fully launched out of the user's machine and in the opening.
It's just not a stretch to me.
Good for you?

This is a place where we share our opinions and feelings about DragonBall material. Why are you getting snippy with me?

No one could sense the Androids even when attacking. Why would a gun be any different, ring form or no?

Well you know, sometimes characters lose fights or get hurt by things they really shouldn't. It's just something that happens in fiction sometimes. I mean you figure no one is absolutely perfect so they're going to slip up once and a while. It's not like it's something that would be normally expected to happen under most circumstances. Comic book fans call this kind of thing PIS (Plot-Induced Stupidity). When the plot requires someone to take a dive for drama's sake.

They couldn't? I legit thought thry couldt sense the kids inside them. But once they shot the ki out. For a temporarily moment. They could.

Very good for him, as that's one less thing to tarnish the film for him.
Also good for me, as I feel the same way.
Even though I haven't seen it yet. I have no idea how most of you guys can tolerate a shitty camripor can't wait a few months

I'm pretty sure the androids don't use ki but a similar type of energy which works the same for all intents and purposes, it just can't be sensed. And when 19 and 20 absorb ki it is converted to that kind of energy.

Nope. Even after Yajirobe's car was shot out of the sky, they never once sensed anyone was there.

Well to play Devil's Advocate we don't know Yajirobe's car was shot out of the sky, they could have physically attacked it, like flown up and punched it.

Likewise, I dont see the problem there, a bullet hit Beerus at BoG and even made his forehead dirty

What character development was there? Cause it seems like they went backwards They worked together to beat Buu and Vegeta made a fool of himself to keep the Earth save. Yet this time they refused to work together to beat Freeza and Vegeta only stepped in when Freeza was completely worn out.
As far as the fight goes it sucked, too much focus on Beerus and Whis eating candy. Plus the CGI was really jarring.

Freeza admitted he was outclassed and swallowed his pride in order to train; Piccolo showed he isn't always a strict father figure by showing he can gently take care of Pan; Goku finally puts his arrogance and selfish behavior to the side (he should have received this development in the Freeza arc and one can argue that he did and that this movie showcased character regression, but I digress). It's subtle, but it's there if you pay attention, just like all character development in Dragon Ball.
In regards to the fight, I agree that it was pretty underwhelming and average at best, CGI overall was better than BoG's but too much of it was used. The second time F was used was in that fight and most of it was spent on Beerus and Whis talking about food, lol, and their gags were pretty unnecessary. I loved Goku's punch to Freeza's chest, Vegeta's beat-down and Nakao's screams when Freeza gets out of the water, though.
