I doubt there will be any filler since the manga is an adaption of the anime and not the other way around.

I'm confused, in End of Z, Goku flies off with Uub to train him. But in BotG, which happens 4 years after the Majin Arc,hes in King Kais planet and Uub is gone?

It's not 4 years after Uub, but 4 years after Buu is defeated; within the 10 year time skip.

I just finished watching Revival of F, and enjoyed it so much that I'm really hoping Super picks up right where the movie left off. The only downside for me would be no Uub, but maybe they could do a special with him later, or skip to EoZ later on in the series.

They kinda dug their own grave there.... :/ which means goku had ssj god powers during age 784 with uub if we follow strictly to the timeline which is weird.

I loved RoF too! Especially the fight scenes...definitely the fight scenes.

What is weird about it? There's nothing to be fixed. Goku was just testing Uub, having control of God Ki makes no difference whatsoever.

It said ~778, which means around 778. Volume F says ~779, and Beerus' stuff on Bluma's blog says two years (780).

It can't actually be in the same year though. Videl wasn't even showing as pregnant in BOG, Pan is already born at the start of Resurrection F, and then another 4-6 months pass after Freeza is resurrected. 779 minimum makes the most sense.

The announcement notes that the story of the new anime and manga is still a mystery, but that it will "no doubt exceed everyone's expectations."

I don't expect anything less from Toriyama.

I think it's safe to say this'll take place directly after FNF cause if it was after Uub's introduction they would've said a decade after Buu instead of a few years which is anything under 10 if I'm not mistaken.

I guess it depends, though "a few" is used to describe something of small number, so a handful basically. The real question is, have ANN translated that description about the setting directly from the article, or have they come up with that themselves?.

I'm ok with either, but my preference would be after "F", before the 28th Budokai. My fear is characters being too old, especially Tien, Krillin and Roshi, Yamcha has retired already.
I can't imagine this series won't be awesome either way.

The story of the anime is set a few years after the defeat of Majin Buu, when the Earth has become peaceful once again.

The image in the article doesn't say anything about the timeframe for the story. Unless it's written on a different page or somewhere else not pictured, I can only assume they've taken some liberties with the previous "after Boo" statements.

In other words, we still don't know exactly when the story is set. But it may be worth noting that the page makes two different mentions of Super following Kai.

Personally I'd rather do immediately post F because it's fresher, but either is good for me.

I think the most logical way to do it is after F, doing it after EoZ would be quite risky because it would involve putting other characters in the spotlight and testing the waters to see if fans would accept them or not.

The movie leaked onto the internet and was taken down very quickly, but some really big parts of it are still floating around. I can't say more than that.

DB wouldn't be what it is today if Toriyama didn't take the risks he did.
