Super is going to depend on its content/merch in terms of how much I'll be willing to spend on related stuff. It's already secured my viewership for the premiere with the brief summary it gave.

Then I suggest you start looking for part time summer jobs. Being a Dragon Ball fan in the modern era can be really costly sometimes. And with a new anime, comes tons of new merchandise, many of which I most likely purchase. Especially, if it's Beerus related.

It's a big deal in that they're hoping to make a lot of money off a piece of crap quickly put together in two or three months. Otherwise, this isn't something they're planning on actually being a well-made (or even a well-scheduled) work of art.

If Super takes place after FnF, then as long as Goten actually looks his age, I'll accept any butt-ugly design they throw at me. His Battle of Gods design confounds me, he's only half-Saiyan, there's a limit to how long a kid can look 7. Same goes for Trunks and Marron, really.

After watching Hunter X Hunter I realised that having more of a focus on Goten and Trunks could be awesome (the MCs of HxH are like Goten and Trunks in multiple ways).

Buuut I doubt that's gonna happen. I'm suprised there hasn't been a trailer for DBS, I'm starved for info.

I don't think it'd word for Dragon Ball. It worked for HxH because Togashi loves putting his characters in situations they absolutely hate to be in. If Super has Goten and Trunks as main characters, I doubt it'd be at the same level of kid Goku's adventure.

I don't know how you can talk with so much certainty about everything, like you belong in the production team or something, but that comes off as really conceited. The truth is you have the same idea about their schedules as any of us, which is none.
Btw, Saint Seiya Omega wasn't announced until less than two months before the premiere. And the first episode (the first season, in fact) was far from a "piece of crap quickly put together". We've learned later it was in the works much, much earlier, including reunions with the original manga author, so that alone means absolutely nothing.

And people should really stopping comparing Super to Sailormoon Crystal. That's an online show that has no tv sponsor behind it, it's just Bandai.
Saint Seiya Soul of Gold (also streaming-only) looks considerably worse production-wise than Saint Seiya Omega (Tv Asahi), which is natural, comparing the staffs.
So it's clear at this point Toei has even lower standards when something isn't on tv.
