Well, I'll help anyway I can and if Kinofourpaws says yes for me to help her with the auditioning that's good enough for me (if Kaboom accepts of course XD) I've got nothing to do anyway these days, this might just light up my artistic fire.

Sorry, I wasn't able to catch up with all of the info in this thread.. Jesus Christ, even the title changed!! Anyway, I have no problem helping with the auditions. Uh, if you need my contact info, just look in my profile. Congrats on the 100th post. And I just have to say, I'm really proud of this project guys! It's Alive! It's (somewhat) alive! For the record, I'm cool with being Zarbon only if it's pre-transformation Zarbon (I feel pretty..oh so pretty)Sorry I saw Anger Management yesterday ;p

Hmm...can't we just audition ourselves recording to clips of movie 3 and not having to read off your guys' script, but still be accurate? You seem rather intent with conducting auditions over Skype/YIM/AIM/whatnot conversations, and I personally don't think that'd be very fair. To get the best out of our auditions, well mine anyway, I'm gonna need to do a few takes and I'd feel less nervous recording myself in the private environment of Windows Movie Maker.

I signed up for writing, if I remember. I know right now, auditions is the big part, but I'd like to get going =D

I can pick up a copy of Movie 3 if possible (It depends on my amount of money =P), but there is the problem. The rental store (Rogers Video) only stocks the new movies, and another lesser known one (Movie Studio) DOES have Movie 3, but it's the Pioneer dub. Is that ok?

Well, I don't blame Kaboom for not being on at the moment; he's told me he's still got a bunch of college end-of-semester work to do, at least for this week. As it happens, I have quite a lot of it too, plus finals, so I won't be on too much myself...

But school has to take first priority, you know?

I'm sure that, if Kaboom hasn't gotten the needed stuff together and got the auditioning officially started "on schedule", he'll figure out a way to set things back on track (but we've got to help him, too!). In the meantime, though, this is probably a good opportunity (for all of you who don't have to worry about finals this week, anyway

) to practice some more for auditioning, file-syncing (which I've noticed several people have done), and other things as needed for the project.

Sorry if our schedules end up causing any delays, but the project still is going on! So please don't worry about it too much.

Well, I was thinking that initial auditions were gonna be recorded by the auditioners individually and posted on a separate thread, anyway. Then Kaboom, Rick, Mystic Jack, and I were gonna go through them and discuss them on YIM, and then once we picked who was gonna play what, we could get whoever landed roles to chat or conference with us about lines and how they sound, with actors just quickly "roughing out" any re-recordings (like a, "You mean sound like this?" kind of thing), as needed.

And, as far as going by the script goes, well... I don't know. Kaboom said he was going to have snippets of the script for people to use when auditioning, so (even when recording by yourself for the actual audition), he might want you to stick with that. But I don't think it would hurt too much to use what you have already, especially if Kaboom doesn't have enough script excerpts to use when he starts the audition or if you wanted to record a certain instance that Kaboom's excerpts don't cover. As for how long or short you want to make your recording, well, that's your choice... try not to make it TOO short (like just a few words), but just long enough for us to get a good feel of how you sound and how well you've got the parts you're trying for nailed. By all means, though, if you don't want to do a huge monologue for your audition, you don't have to.

So, yeah, as far as the actual auditioning goes, you only need do it on your own. No conferencing needed there! Hope that helps you some (and sorry for not replying to you the first time
