Different actors same characters?

Steve Blum is the voice of Guilmon in "Digimon Tamers". He also voiced Goku in the game "Dragon Ball: Final Bout". In Japan both Goku and Guilmon are voiced by Masako Nozawa. I'm geeking out so hard right now.

Anybody know of any other instances where American and Japanese voice actors play more than 1 of the same character in different languages?

The only other example I could think of is Shigeru Shiba and Chuck Huber who both play Pilaf and Garlic Jr.

Daisuke Gōri (Japanese) and Chris Rager (Funi) both voice Mr. Satan, and King Yemma.

Both Sean Schemmel and Masako Nozawa voiced a character the same character in Pokèmon!

Your right! They both play a character called Masamune (Morrison in the U.S.). I didn't watch Pokemon after the original series so I have no idea who that is. Still cool info though. Nice find.

Morrison was one of Ash's rivals in the Hoenn League. What's sad is that Schemmel used his Kaio voice on him.

Chris Sabat and Kenji Utsumi, who provide (or rather sadly in the case of Utsumi-san, provided) the voice of Shenlong in their respective languages both voice(d) Alex Luis Armstrong in Fullmetal Alchemist.

They were also both the voice of Garland from Final Fantasy in at least his Dissidia appearances. I don't know how accurate it is, but from what I've heard, Sabat was even specifically chosen because of this shared connection through Armstrong.

Hmm...I feel like there's some other examples of this that I'm just not thinking of at the moment.

Dragon Ball - One Piece. These two are connected in too may ways.

Masako Nozawa: Goku / Dr. Kureha
Mayumi Tanaka: Krillin / Luffy
Toshio Furukawa: Piccolo / Ace
Toru Furuya: Tamcha / Adult Sabo
Ryūsei Nakao: Freeza / Caesar Clown

Fun fact: Luffy, Ace and Sabo are brothers. So fhe DB trio: krillin, Piccolo and Yamcha are family.

.Others series-

Norio Wakamoto: Cell / Charles (Code Geass) / Matsudaira (Gintama)

This is all I remember for now.

Thats cool and all. But I was asking more about different actors who play the same characters more than once. I.e: Masako Nozawa and Goku both play Goku in DB AND Morrison in Pokemon.

In Portugal, Tuxedo Mask and Pegasus Seiya were dubbed by the same guy. Didn't do Yamcha though.

The Norwegian actor who played Future Gohan, and sometimes Vegeta, Erik Skjøld, played Brock in Pokèmon, and the actor who played Jinzoningen 17, and the narrator, also played James!

That's cool and all, but not really what I was looking for in this thread. It's super common for many foriegn dubbing voice actors to be in various projects together.

Just to clarify: This thread is about finding 2 voice actors who voiced the same character, and did so more than once.

For example: Chuck Huber voiced Garlic Jr and Pilaf. So did Shigeru Chiba.
Another example: Masako Nozawa and Sean Schemmel both played Goku. They also both played Morrison/Masamune in Pokemon.

Ian Corlett and Peter Kelamis both voiced Roshi and Adult Goku. Saffron Henderson and Stephanie Nadolny both voiced Kid Goku and Kid Gohan. I'm pretty certain Chris Sabat and "Old Bastard" from the Big Green dub also share a lot of roles seeing as they voice about 50% of the characters in their respective dubs.

Outside of Dragon Ball, Brian Drummond and Scott Mcneil have both voiced "Wolverine" from X-Men.

At least two different English VA's have shared the roles of both Son Goku from Dragon Ball and Tetsuro Hoshino from Galaxy Express 999. Both characters were notable Masako Nozawa roles in Japanese.

Saffron Henderson voiced Goku in the Kidmark/BLT dub of Dragon Ball (1995) and Tetsuro in Viz's dub of Galaxy Express 999 (1996).
Coincidentally, Goku and Tetsuro had also been voiced in earlier dubs by Barbara Goodson. She was Goku in the Harmony Gold dub (1989) and was also Tetsuro in the older Roger Corman dub of Galaxy Express (1981) (according to a user on Fandom Post).
