Doctor. wrote:The park ranger one isn't really for hardcore fans, as both the anime and manga imply this heavily.
Kind of, but you'd be surprised how many people I've met don't remember that small scene at all, and it's never really implied he's a park ranger. That was something Toriyama addressed later.
It's actually pretty surprising how many people don't know that Cat Loves Food is from the original dub, too.
As far as 18 and the KOC count go, well... you'll see.
Lastly, I'm a huuuge proponent of those hardcore-fan jokes. Just try not to overload the script with them.
I'm more curious as to how Mr. Popo's death at the hands of Boo will play out. Up until now he's been portrayed as this untouchable monstrosity, so will they continue to play that up, or will he finally meet his match?
Boo: "Boo eat you!!"
Mr. Popo: "Yeah, that's not happening."
*Popo uses dark energy; Boo is unaffected*
Mr. Popo: "Umm... pecking order?"
*Boo eats him*
To a strong man, the end justifies the means. To a stronger man, the means justify the end.

Buu probably eats Popo and then Popo later shows up inside him with Goku and Vegeta and scares Buu into letting them go.

I'm expecting Popo to be the one that defuses Vegettto

He obviously was having tea with Alucard and Demon God Dumplin during this time. #Dumplinabridgedcanon
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
Spoiler:
Doctor. wrote:I've explained before, I'll just paraphrase myself.
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.

Well yeah, but that's the boring way to do it.
Seriously though, it would be somewhat cathartic for Popo to be an untouchable Mary Sue throughout the entire series only to run headfirst into someone totally out of his league.

But it would be better if it was someone unexpected...

Like Dumplin.
I yearn for Dumplin to appear in DBZA at some point. Hell, once DBZA has run its course, I'd love to see an original mini-series starring Dumplin and Spudz.
To a strong man, the end justifies the means. To a stronger man, the means justify the end.
TFS has finally achieved the 10,000 dollar dream on patreon. If at any point Dumplin was going to get into anything outside of the games, the possibility for it happening is now, with that production house.

More Dumplin, outside of Xenoverse, would be awesome. Perhaps a cameo in DBZ Abridged.

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

If Dumplin does appear in Abridged (I would be stoked if he made a cameo in the Buu Arc, Majin and all that), would it be revealed that he is the Majin behind the terror that is Popo? Or would it be the other way around?
