Never watching a promotional art got me so pissed before. When I saw that Goku, I thought that Super would take place right away after ROF and before EOZ.
Because it was the same artwork than before. And then I went to super site and there was a post about it too.

Thank God, there isn't anything confirmed yet.

Anyone knows if the new Dragon ball Super manga will be released weekly on Shonen Jump like One Piece? Or will it be a monthly thing?
Cause honestly i would love to see dragon ball compete against modern manga's that are coming out and see it blow all of them out of the water haha!

I guess after doing more research the Manga will be a monthly release from V-Jump in order to not get ahead of the anime.

The manga starts next month with the anime airing the month after. So the manga will start ahead of the anime. It will very likely fall way behind pretty quickly though unless we get like ~40 pages with moderate pacing, because we'll only be getting 1 chapter for every 4 episodes.

I mean some manga do have chapters that long, even some weekly manga, but nothing Dragon-Ball-related has that I'm aware of (correct me if I'm wrong) so far.

I don't remember the exact number, but Toyotaro's Resurrection F adaptation was around ~35 pages at least for each chapter. So it's possible that's what we could see for Super. There are more than a few factors to consider though, so it just depends on how they decide to handle it.

Monthly mangas always have more pages than weekly ones, but if Super airs every week the manga will fall behind quickly.

With Super airing on TV, I don't see that happening at all. That means they'd have to have substitute programming in place every other week, which kind of defeats the purpose of slapping it in the Dream 9 block (or whatever it's called these days).

I just checked, and I don't think that the song is in that video. That little box at the bottom-left of the screen never contains the star icon that's in Chozetsu's title.

Yeah, this definitely seems to help prove Super will take place after Resurrection F. Otherwise they probably would have promoted it as a "before Beerus and Golden Freeza, another threat blah blah..." type situation. All that really remains to be seen now is whether it is directly after F, or if it is after Uub too.

It'll be strange to have it set before Uub when the 1st episode will air right after he's introduced.

Hopefully it'll be after cause there'll be a bigger mystery surrounding the plot due to us not having an epilogue that tells us everyone survives.
