I have a premonition that it will start right after the day when Goku defeated Pure Buu and it will feature Uub's birth. Then it will pick up after the meeting with him 10 years after. You'll see that I'm being right.

He said that about Battle of Gods, not Super. While it's not impossible that he still thinks the same thing, but people can change their minds, especially people with notoriously spotty memories.

If it was set after Oob, they would have mentionned it in this tweet, like "after meeting Beerus the God of Destruction, having to face Freezer and having learnt that Boo was reincarnated as a new ally, what mysterious new character could possibly be introduced now?"

They just mention things from the films as the latest thing happening (since Kai is just a retelling and not the latest new thing being developped), it's like a barely disguised way to say: "after the events you saw in the two last movie, what could be the direct follow-up to those?".

As time goes by, I'm only more and more convinced that the series essentially replaces a third movie and happens right after Ressurection 'F' and way before Oob.
Good! Either way is fine with me and will surely be great, but continuing with the much more fascinating BOG-RF setup is my preference and the most logical choice to me.

Toriyama likely wouldn't come up with a plot set in an era he claimed to be uninterested in developing not so long ago instead of an era that seems to have sparked the flame anew for him like never before!

That's true but I don't really understand why was it mentioned that the series will start after the Majin Buu saga when that period is peaceful until the special when we meet Tarble. I'm inclined to believe that they want to show us some of the process when Pure Buu was purified and reincarnated as Uub(who will be born right away). And if Uub will be featured, I don't see the reason why couldn't they dive into a post EoZ saga, even if some of the characters are pretty old, but Uub can become a new hero under Goku's guidance.

I guess Uub's appearance in the new series is intended to be the surprise for us.

Or if I'm wrong then The so-called peaceful 5 years of time when Goku and Bulma did not see each other till EoZ and when Goku has been training with his son, Goten, will be turned into a battle field. That one would be very inconsistent to begin with, so...

No, he's asking if he'd shine like that and get to dance in commercials too if he were to erase the spots on his body. It's a reference to the Mets commercial showing Freeza and his men dancing.

(CM is short for "commercial message" and is the Japanese term for TV commercials, etc)

This sounds encouraging. Please let it be after "F". Though if it was after EoZ, perhaps Goku will have a beard, and Vegeta a moustache lol.

Joking aside, it's disappointing to see negativity about it being predictable if it's not EoZ, DB has always been that way, no one ever really dies.
It's a miracle we're getting a new series, so I'm going to appreciate it for what it is, whether it's EoZ or not.

While I agree I don't like gore there is quite the amount of violence in the series. From the top of my head:

I'm certainly not asking for guts and entrails splattered on the ground, but there is a certain degree of violence and dying expect for Super to have consistency with the rest of the series if they are going to face even stronger threats.

That's what I'm talking about, I not a gore fan... But DB had amount of violence so I would like Super to follow that pattern, but maybe don't since GT is nothing compared to Z and DB in violence

Damn, Kikuchi getting a award this year is like calling him back to Dragon Ball Super!
Even though he doesn't come back, Toei should just remaster some of his soundtracks. They are too perfect to be left on the past.

I wouldn't have problems with a series after [F] if the period didn't seem to be very peaceful, not to mention that Bulma said that she didn't see Goku just because he didn't want come to her as he all the times trains. I would rather see a series after the meeting with Uub. In the EoZ was really suggested that he hasn't been challenged for a long period, and being excited that he found a great opponent in Uub's person. Vegeta also confirms that Goku somewhat find a new goal to live for when Goku decided to train Uub. I would like to see Goku to make a potent fighter out of Uub. Having the example of Freeza who was bale to become immensely powerful in a really short amount of time, being a prodigy, I can also imagine Uub being a able to do the same, just because he is a reincarnation of Majin Buu, who is also naturally a genius life form, a force of nature to absorb the evil of mankind - stated by Toriyama -.

I also think right after FnF is the best point to start the series. It can resume the storyline introduced in BoG and it also helps FnF, making it work like a "training arc" for the good stuff.

In the EoZ was really suggested that he hasn't been challenged for a long period, and being excited that he found a great opponent in Uub's person.

Knowing Goku though, six months of no challenge would be enough to kill him by boredom.

So glad Super's going to be taking place after F, now I'm happy. I'd be even happier if it was EOZ though. Hopefully the series will explore the other universes.
