The other 11 Hakaishins and possibly some other incredible beings(like Goku and Vegeta), and their attendants(if they exist) are enough to uncover them. And those can be presented in 20-50 episodes very easily.

Everything will be rushed if they try to use that many characters and stories in such a short number of episodes.

I think 50 episodes should be enough for a goal to present a conflict involving all the universes. Presenting the other universes in very small details would be boring by me.

I don't really see a detailed description of each universes to be necessary as the 7th(the main) universe's description is very simple: 4 galaxies, the Kais' planet, the Kaioshins' Planet, the Heaven, the Snake Way and the Hell is in the bottom.

Toriyama couldn't even be bothered to write a real script for Fukkatsu no F, there is no way he'll be overtly involved with Super, let alone writing scripts.

What do you mean by this? He didn't write a real script? Did you see the full script and is this your opinion because you think it's bad, or are you just assuming from comments you've seen? Have you seen the movie? Or are you one of those who jumps on the bandwagoon to hate on Toriyama's new involvements?

Regarding the episode length, I'd rather Toei just do 24 episodes and it's successful enough, make a second season, and so forth.

One hundred episodes would make for a really, really bad series. Not only in terms of storytelling but story, too. We're not going to get freely written and character-based material from this series.

That's rougly how long Saiyan/Namek/Android/Cell arcs take in Kai version and for all Kai mistakes, it definitely didn't lose strong character-based arcs or good plot advancement. Besides, quantity doesn't automatically mean quality. Buu arc is longer than any other Z arc and yet it's the worst in terms of writing, in manga, original anime or Kai format.

Kai was a condensation of a series that was already long and based on an ongoing manga when it was made. IE, there was already a story to animate and adapt. That's why a few of the only long, ongoing series are only ones that have a concurrently running manga (One Piece, Naruto). This is an original story being made from scratch. Unless this ends up being a HUGE hit, I doubt we'll see more than 60/70 episodes.

I'd like Super to not be formed by different arcs, but only one single uncovering those other universes.

Unless this ends up being a HUGE hit, I doubt we'll see more than 60/70 episodes.

Weekly schedule for a year which is how 'seasons' in Japan seem to work already gives 52 episodes tho. I just doubt Toei only plans for this revival to last 1 year. This is a different situation than GT, that series followed a decade of DB on air, DBS will follow 2 decades of no-new-DB-material on air. The audience is much more hungry for new stuff, nostalgia factor is in prime spot to be exploited in multiple countries that had DB airing in mid 90s to early 00s.

Japanese seasons work in blocks of thirteen weeks called 'cours' (French for quarters). Toei Animation tends to do four cours or continue a series runs into the ground. Their last one cour series was Kyousougiga, which was partially made from OVA material already produced. Dragon Ball Super will probably run for at least a year given it is running right before One Piece but that doesn't mean it will be well produced, either.

I'd much rather have Super have separated arcs so that the story is more concise and the narrative doesn't become too scattered with multiple sub-plots like have have one overreaching arc would.

I hope it's fresh-looking, I want it to stand out from the Dragon Ball Z logo, since it'll be its own thing.

We don't know. If it were the true/final logo, I have to imagine it would have been used on the website.

It still might be, but... again... we don't know!

For what it's worth, it took a few weeks from announcement to receiving its logo back for Kai... but in that case, we got the title and its logo after together as one after its announcement, not as a part of its announcement like we did with Super.

That's a relief that it isn't official then, I don't like it very much, seems to bland for a new series compared to the DB, Kai and DBZ logos, in my opinion. Even compared to the GT one. I can't picture a DB logo without a dragon ball serving as the "o" in "Dragon".

It won't go over 26. If it is a gigantic hit, they'll just make another season in 1 year.

It'll definitely be more than 26 episodes. There is still a crap load of lore to be explored in Dragon Ball and 26 episodes is way too short to explore all of it.
