People should just be glad and appreciate that it's actually going to be shown in U.S cinemas - even if it is for a limited release, 9 days is more than enough time to get to see it. If the film does really well again, like with Battle of Gods, I'm sure they could add a few dates just like last time.

Us UK folk are just sat here twiddling our thumbs now waiting for something to get announced!

Could someone upload the trailer for people in Europe?

"Revenge takes it's final form"...

Yeah, it was clearly made for fans of the English version, which is as anyone would expect.

Still hyped though. Dammit, Manga UK, get your shit together!

I really enjoyed the trailer although I wish we got a little bit of dialogue. The Ayres Freeza laugh was just a tease!

Especially like the way the logo looks at the end and how the "Resurrection F" zooms onto screen.

FUNimation do tend to be a little bit misleading with things like this though. With the Battle of Gods trailer they had built it up to be the most epic fight in history and the trailer music they used seemed really out of place considering most of us had already seen the film and knew it was more of a comedy, rather than a battle to end all battles, ha. At least Resurrection F does seem to be mostly action.

It does the job though. It gets people excited. It's got me excited!

I really, really hope I'm able to go see this one in theaters. It didn't work out where I could go see Battle of Gods, so I hope I'm able to do so this time. Hell, I've even got the perfect shirt for it now!

I'm still concerned about us getting a DVD/Bluray release shortly there-after though, in case there is an extended version coming down the pipe later...I'm worried that we will either not get it, or I'll have to double dip, bah. :P

Would Japan allow FUNi to release "F" so soon on home media, though? FUNi haven't released Kai 2.0 yet, when the likes of France have. I think we may have to wait the typical 6months-1year. Though since here in the UK we're Region B, maybe MangaUK can release it earlier :P

I imagine having concurrent dubbed and subtitled runs would be deemed too confusing for the average movie-goer. Subtitles are relatively niche, and they probably don't want to have a situation where someone who doesn't necessarily know the difference accidentally walks into a "subtitled" area expecting an English version with captions and then getting pissed off because the characters are speaking a different language.

True, but that's the timeframe I meant as 'shortly there-after' more or less though. Basically, if we get a DVD release before Japan gets it's first TV airing, then I'm worried we'll get shafted out of the potential of an extended version there...and/or be forced to double dip.

Not like double dipping would be new for me at this point in my collection...but still. :P

Good point, with Kai yet to be released and upcoming Super FUNi may be juggling too many DB properties again. Course there may not be any extended cut and we are worrying for no reason lol.

I'm sure the only thing that would make you even more happy would be Pikkon appearing in Dragon Ball Super. :)

Well, BoG came out in the US in Auguat 2014 and did very well, so I am guessing FUNi are trying to replicate it with another August release. Also, a lot of summer blockbusters come out in June&July so that may have been a factor too.

Yeah, August is the perfect month for the movie to come out because there's less competition, and of course, most American kids and teenagers are on holiday at that time.

If people are dumb enough to not know what subtitled means, that's their problem. I would love this to have a subtitled version for at least a day out of the 9 day run. I want to see this movie subtitled too. It would feel weird to only see the dub and then have to wait for the release to see it subtitled.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

Never knew the Frieza Saga: Recolored Edition is coming this year. I for one thought it'd take a year for them to get all of the stuff together, but this seems good. Finally gonna see it for myself. Hopefully there'll be one in North Jersey(I live in South Jersey but I usually go to a movie theater in the North side of NJ cuz my local theater sucks).
