Chris Ayres has Gotten Older?

Post by JSnively03 » Thu May 28, 2015 2:23 pm

A lot of you might've seen FUNimation's new theatrical trailer for Resurrection F. The trailer consists of captions that are supposed to hype the viewer (in my view), and it certainly did do this. They also show Frieza transforming, but it's Ryusei Nakao's voice. At the very end of this, we can hear Frieza's laugh. However, he sounds a bit older, also, he looks a bit older. He seems to have coughed a bit in this trailer.

In my opinion, Chris Ayres is still good, and will forever be the best Frieza actor. Frieza is loyal, evil, and heartless, and Chris portrays that when he acts Frieza. But is he still as good as he was when he was acting in Dragon Ball Z Kai?

In my opinion, yes, don't forget that Frieza has also gotten older.

Leave your opinion down in the comments section bellow. :D

Obviously he's gotten older like any other person...

We're talking a matter of just a few years since he first did the role, and less than a single year since XENOVERSE recording. Not nearly enough time to say "gotten older".

I guarantee you there's no "coughing" in the trailer. What you think might be coughing is probably just the cocky laughter. I can see where you might think that, but that's just the style of the laugh.

I'm also not entirely convinced whatever laughing we hear is even NEW laughter. Yeah, he just finished recording stuff for the movie, and the trailer coincidentally came out very shortly after that... but the first dub Battle of Gods trailer was just recycled Kai stuff, right? Wouldn't surprise me if it were the same here.

You mean the Kamehameha one or the first actual trailer? I'm not sure about the Kamehameha one, but I know the first trailer only reused Schemmel's lines from Kai since he hadn't recorded anything at that time. The rest of the trailer did use voices from the rest of the movie. But yeah, the first teaser for BoG only had Schemmel saying "Kamehameha" which is from Kai, just not sure where.

I mean, you're pretty open about looking at cartoon porn. Why would you do that? It's fiction. The proportions of these women are not possible to reach in reality.

I could be misinterpreting you, but I'm getting the impression you're worried that Ayres hasn't aged enough to portray an older Freeza, am I right? But the truth is, Freeza most likely isn't any older than last we saw him. He's been dead all this time, and you don't age in the afterlife.
