Ladies and gents of DaizEX, my audition clip for the Room 29 fandub of DBZ movie 3, hopefully the first of many. The parts I am trying out for are Yamcha, Tien, and the purple twins; Rasin & Rakasei. Enjoy my work, everyone, and above all I hope this can land me a spot in this project.

Anyway, I liked your voices, both of them....I think Tien's was my favorite.

Well, if I remember right, Kaboom did say auditions would likely be starting Monday. I guess since I just recently finished my audition recording, I was too hyped and jumpstarted the thread. I hope that doesn't get me on the bad side of anyone. o.o;;

Okay, so a review...

I thought your impression of the Purple Twins (can we call them the 'Twilight Twins?') was EXCELLENT! Your Tien was great, but your voice broke up a bit after he was attacked.

I didn't like your Yamcha. He needs to be more... more... suave.

I loved it when Tien exclaims 'WHAT?!' Great work; you're definitely being that character (or else I'll stick some dynamite down Kaboom's pants, and make him go KABOOM!).

I'm curious to know what audio track you used. I'm gonna "prepare" for my take on this. I'm planning on stopping at Hollywood Video today. Would it be weird for me to do this without a shirt on..

(my first semi-cosplay. video available soon: HOT x3 ;p)

...Erm, if anyone had actually read the update post I made over on the other thread earlier today, they would have seen me say that I'm a bit behind because of work and school, and wouldn't have the Auditions Thread up until tomorrow, at the earliest.

There are certain guidelines and criteria I'm trying to get down and set up for the auditions, otherwise I could've just made a random thread like this and left it at that.

You know, this brings me right back to what Jersey brought up and I've been repeating on the main project thread all along. You guys are getting too far ahead of yourselves!

I'm glad that you're all so enthusiastic (Especially you, Conan), but if a project like this is going to work, then it needs to be handled slowly, surely, and carefully. This is why I eventually decided on Mr.Piccolo and KinoFourpaws as my "Dodoria" and "Zarbon," because they, like me, were adressing the project in an orderly, calm, and logical manner, and offering to take on various responsibilities as well as eventually auditioning.

Believe it or not, Voice Acting is one of the lowest priorities on the list. I really shouldn't even be starting auditions yet, since we haven't filled the Video Editor position(s) yet, and there's still things to do like script writing, getting the footage, gathering music, etc... Casting a voice crew is the last thing that should happen, but I was going to start the auditions early so that people could get a head start, and re-record or perfect their stuff based on the criteria and what they've seen from others.

Guys, I beg you; cool your jets with the auditions. I will have a thread made specifically for auditions within the next couple days. But until then, please be patient, and make sure to regularly check the main thread for the project so as not to miss any more updates.

I'm actually relieved as I'm swamped with work and probably wouldn't get a chance to do any audition stuff til Tuesday or Wednesday. @_@

Will the auditions just be audio or audio/video?

It'll be either. One of the things I still have to do is go through the movie again, and see which scenes are available as clips on DragonBallArena, so people can set it to video if they want. Then I still have to pick out those script tidbits...
