A great, funny episode as usual, but that Tenshinhan moment was genuinely awesome and (don't hit me) made it cooler than the actual series (sorry). Funnies and pathos at the same time!

As for the attack names: We go back and forth sometimes, but we're trying to keep it more consistent now.

Well in the Funi dub they have Tenshinhan as Tién Shin Han, as if 'Shin Han' was his last name. I guess they put an 'i' in there because they were going to shorten his name, and felt that everyone calling him 'Ten' would be confusing...though then again there was no issue calling Eighteen as such.

Doesn't "ten" on its own mean "heaven" in Japanese? Heaven Shinhan!

Chaozu refers to Tenshinhan as "Ten-san" in Japanese.

Also, this was definitely my favorite episode in a while. Aside from the jokes and editing, the voice work was really fantastic.

Before the OG Dragon Ball dub, he was just Ti­en, with no reference to Shinhan. I recall reading on here a few years ago that it was actually the result of a translation error that they didn't pick up on until a few years later, and to compromise, they made his full name Tien Shinhan in the DB dub.

I meant Tien shinhan and I don't remember the exact episode. I know it was during the time when Vegeta was on earth. Bulma was at Roshi's and I think Chichi was going nuts.

I'm still fairly certain that the Shinhan name was never dropped in Funimation's Dragon Ball Z (except the movie Bojack Unbound) but I don't want to get too off-topic or anything.

Oh, the Ocean Dub. Well, that, I haven't seen. I assumed it was the Funi dub we were talking about.
