Gohan telling Goten he is missing out... Well, in any case, is not like Gohan has ever fused either. He wouldn't understand.

Again, Saikyo Jump comes out today in Japan and they are supposed to have information on Super. Whether it's new information or not is an entirely different story. Seeing how the book is out though and nothing has been running rampant around the web yet, I'm going to guess it may all be recycled? Still, we get cute SSGSS Saiyans...

Oh wow. I didn't know this one was his. I always wondered why the style felt so different. It certainly made Trunks scene quite memorable.

I wonder if Toei even has any Super material yet? Do they really have it all figured out, or are they making this on the seat of their pants like the original Majin Buu arc. Hell, for all we know, Toriyama didn't even send in his story for Super yet; just pitched the idea and said "Gimme some time, I swear I'll give you some ideas and designs!" Before we knew it, he slipped into his old habits. Good ol' Toriyama.

As it is Toei, I wouldn't put it past them not to have stuff done that one would think would be done by now. >_>
Regardless, I'm still incredibly excited about Super.

The original press release says that the story Toriyama submitted was really good. Episode #1 is probably still being animated, though. Assuming Episode #1 premiers the first week of July then it probably isn't finished yet, especially if it's going to have any good action cuts.

I'm a bit cautious because a similar, but different, logo was used prior to this story and I honestly liked that one better. So if that's the real, final logo, I'm a bit disappointed. I was really hoping for something closer to Kai's logo, but toned down a little in terms of its energy. However, this potential logo for Super feels like it's lacking too much energy...

I don't see it as a logo just like I don't think that image of Goku is actually taken from 'Super'. I hope it's not the logo anyway, because it's not very creative!

That can hardly be considered a "logo". Logo fonts tend to be more stylized, I think that's simply WSJ identifying the subject they were talking about on that page.

You are correct. It is one of the first promotional artworks we had for Boo Saga Kai. Interesting page IF that logo turns out to be final, though. July 5th? It's getting very close!!
