Do you guys think Funimation will call it "Dragon Ball S" for continuity's sake to make it like Dragon Ball Z?

Calling it Dragon Ball Super might be weird since we usually put adjectives before the nouns.

Well, I know it wouldn't matter to me in particular. Really, it's just the story that matters to me and others. However, I understand where the disappointment and "anger" comes from, though. I just hope that those who feel that way are able to get over quickly and enjoy this series.

They didn't move Kai (even though they added a Z).
Also there's a "Super Dragon Ball Z" video game, so...

I dunno, I'm not bothered by the adjective placement.

Anyway, the logo we got isn't that good but it ain't terrible. The logo is one thing but the show itself is another. Let's just hope the show itself is good, bad logo aside.

I'm not angry over it, and I'll still watch the show, I just think it looks ugly, like a lazy photo shop edit of the Z logo.

On the logo: I don't follow Toei as much as some of you guys do so I'll admit I'm not really trying to guess what they're doing, but I'd almost bet that someone said "We need something visual to stick here rather than generic text" and someone threw something together in Photoshop and it's to tide everyone over until the actual unveiling of whatever assets they have for the show. At the end of the day: logos are logos. Some are cool, some are lame. It's not something I'm going to base my opinion of the show. As others have stated: I'm just happy for new Dragon Ball content. It's like being a teenager again but with more aches, pains, and bills!

I kind of agree, but at the same time, I don't. I like it--perhaps out of familiarity. That, and I have no idea what I want out of a logo.

If that would be the logo though, I'd think it'd be a little OVA crayon series of DBZ related commercials.

I think, once we learn more about the plot, the logo won't matter as much, imo.

But they're probably saving the plot reveal for VJump. T_T

I don't really give a shit about the logo. Looks plain but means nothing to me. Kinda lame but inconsequential nonetheless. Well I'm sure opinions on it will change when or if they reveal who made it.

It just hit me that there are only 3 more episodes of Kai left before Super starts, man I hope we see something soon. Buu dies in the next episode so that would be a good time to show a teaser I would think.

I've been a Dragon Ball fan since the late 80s and I hope that Super retcons EOZ. I've never liked that ending and I don't find Uun to be that interesting of a character. If it takes place after FnF, I'm more than OK with it.

With this being a story from Toriyama set in or after Z it's not surprising they'd want to have it's logo resemble Z's in some way which is OK with me cause I like Z's logo and this new one looks good.

I hope it takes place after FnF and logo is okish for me. That Logo is probably not final one which will be used.
