Agreed. First of all, its definitely not NDA related if Chris Rager told him about it, second, even if it was, he doesn't have to be a dick about it and post that. He might as well have not said anything at all instead of that. For all we know, he might even be bull-shitting us about even meeting him.

I was really tired and focused on way too many other things last night. The Silent Hills news and Halo ODST dropping and whatnot had my head spinning. Yeah I immediately after going back thought of subtlety in initials. I was stuck in such a literal frame of mind. My fault :p for real though not to get off topic but man Silent Hills rumor That being said, I'm still tired honestly lol. I can't think of what exact questions you may personally asked about other than some generic stuff like when is stuff being announced and beginning release. Also, why not just not mention any names and just lay down the info and simply say you confirmed with credible sources? No one could have gotten blamed unless I'm really missing something.

We know Sean Schemmel has been recording for his final two weeks of Kai, this week, and next (which will be him finished).
So basically, Chris is currently recording.

Joking aside I'm pretty sure they will announce it in July, and probably with a october/November release in mind. I hope they immediately go with the season sets but knowing Funimation, they will likely sell 6 parts.

There's little doubt FUNi will announce this before the years out. Sean finished his lines this week, it's a matter of time.

If Kai isn't a part of the September release schedule, then it's being pushed back to early 2016.

I don't think it'll be shoved indefinitely, to dub 69ish (or whatever the episode count is) episodes is not a cheap operation, so they'll need to release it even if it's to minimize the financial loss created by the dub's expenses. Having said that, I agree with you, the fact that it has taken this long to come out has come back to hurt FUNimation. They'll likely be releasing the Buu arc of Kai as Super is airing, which will lead to one of two situations, both of which are not desirable at all:

1) They release their dub of Super alongside their dub of Kai, which will see two Dragon Ball products competing against each other, hurting the sales of both.
2) They wait to release Super until they're done releasing Kai, at which point Super will be old news.

Really, it's hard to imagine that the timing could be worse.

Taking Super into factor is risky because for all we know maybe Funi doesn't want to put Super out until they can air it on Toonami or something.

I totally agree. If FUNi want to release this and limit the damage that Super will inevitably cause them - especially if they decide to dub Super with haste (since it's totally new content) then they need to jump straight into the Season sets, go 3 sets of 23, and get it out asap.

This would clear the way for FUNi to go straight into Super within 6 months (assuming they get Kai out every other month) and not have two Dragon Ball properties competing directly within the market.
This whole Buu Saga of Kai has been a drama in itself for them, and the fact other territories have released it before them, it hasn't been ideal from a profits standpoint.

If they had released it earlier, maybe certain EU territories who speak English (as a second language) may have decided to purchase the FUNi ones while they waited for theirs.
