Going for Burst Kamehameha.

Also Galick Beam Canon is beast...but weaker than my Vanishing ball which has been pretty reliable.

I found out a secret abilty that Elder Kai has. If you talk to him and he says that your fortune is good, your chances of getting skills is higher. If he says you can't get any luckier than this then you will get all the skills that you're missing (that's what I saw in a video). Not sure if equipment is affected too though. I'm going to test it out on a DLC quest where I'm missing like 5 skills and let you guys know if it works.

Man these PQ's are tough (though the Ape one went well enough, other than I didn't get any drops, bah). Maybe I've spent too long away from the game playing other things and have lost what skill I did have. :P

Also, did anyone else notice what seems to be a new section on the 'Play Data' screen? It's the third thing you'll see if you hit R1, a 'World Tournament Join Count'. Is that actually new or am I losing it?

Yeah they're super tough even at around level 90, you really need to do them online to make it easier.

The New thing in the Play Data screen is definitely new since this update.

Also, anyone finish training with the Kai? After using SSGSS Goku, I want Super God Fist all the more.
I could just teleport or jump out of the way instead....no thanks...

I found him and after my first RNG fail for Burst Kamehameha....the struggle is real with those EXP requirements....Imma pull it off and get Unlocked Potential....eventually...
I'm with Kental here, the move works as intended and is just a quick punish after you baited a teleport. Heck I used to use Omega Shenron during PvP sessions just to hit with Dragon Thunder that way.

Well it seems the Elder Kai trick works. Although I only got 4 of the 5 skills I was missing and I did get Gogeta's gloves and a Z-Soul to boot. Wish this was introduced sooner.

The SSGSS aura is weird. It's rainbow-like instead of being straight-up blue, I don't get it.

I wonder if we don't get any Dragon Ball game next year, if Xenoverse will receive DLC with characters, outfits and moves from Super.

Geez, no wonder I'm having issues then, I think I'm at level...85, or something like that? Whatever the last level update was from a while ago, I believe. I'm going to try to avoid going online unless I have to though (which I had to do for a few missions in the past), since I'm like just barely not pulling the one I'm stuck on off. Switching to my best gear and bringing along some powerful AI allies...I think I might be able to win it yet.

I'm also dying of laughter because in this PQ Piccolo literally keeps flying in front of me right as I'm launching a brutal attack towards Gohan. Because it worked out so well for him the last time he tried that, right? :P

Does this cover Dragon Balls...I hope so...

Also got Burst Kamehameha...and and trying to fail the UR...cause that was tough. Whis and Beerus hit like friggen trucks.

I'm not sure but it's probable. I'm going to try it in a second when I get him to say that I can't get any luckier than this.

The new PQ's aren't tough at all. In fact, the last one "Return of the Great Ape!" is super easy. Well at least for me. And I'm using my main Frost Demon. I have maxed strike supers. All I do is charge up, then enter the zone and immediately hit them with Blue Whirlwind. It rips apart their stamina shield. And if I don't kill them with the tornado right off, a super or two tends to finish them off. I can get all 3 down in under 2min by myself and proc the bonus stage. Which is just Oozaru Bardock and a Time Patroller.

Return of Great Ape is the easiest of the new missions.

Well I beat all the god Saiyans pretty easily too. It's the same strat as always; avoid the ki blasts and combo them to death. The only tricky part about Golden Freeza is avoiding his Emperor's Death Beam. Aside from that, still rather easy. Honestly, these aren't that tough and I've only got my main at 87. And I can't spam with him.

You talk to him and sometimes he'll say that he wants to see your fortune or something and then he'll tell you. If he doesn't say it, you have to leave the area and come back (enter PQ and leave). I got the very lucky one 2 times in a row but I've only gotten it once since, so it's not that easy to get it. Make sure to talk to him after you beat the PQ as well because your luck only lasts one PQ mission from what I know.

What is your definition of "Max" strike supers? My Frost Demon has 85 melee and 80 strike super. I can win the matches but it certainly isn't a breeze.

I have 100 in Strike Super. Plus the outfit which is another 20 points. The max starting with a Z-Soul is 125.

I had read that was you raised a stat to 80, that stat was pretty much done. But I suppose that opposite is true too huh?

I finally downloaded DLC Pack 3! Its awesome so far! I'm training with Jaco, then Elder Kai. I should mentioned that the former is really fun to play as. :)

My only concern is that Emperor's Death Beam feels VERY overpowered.

Ignoring the mentor material, I only have Gohan's tracksuit shoes, and Goku & Vegeta's ultimates left to get.

The PQ for the ultimates isn't hard, but it does takes me too long and I end uo being unable to finish both SSGSS Goku and SSGSS Vegeta before time runs out.
When I try and get help at the online PQ booth with random people, none of they attempt to kill Vegeta first and ruin the chance for the Ultimate FInish. So, anyone want to help run through the rival's PQ? (PS3, preferably in the 90s, and maybe a Saiyan for spamming just to make things easier/quicker.)
