Same here, it was also the same time when i was like "who the hell is that blonde girl in the picture" which we now know is Lunch.

Its still stupid how many people think that Kikoho should make a triangle crater, only because how Tenshinhan fires the blast.
His hands don't even form a triangle, more like a lozenge.

But hey, not getting these details and blame the series for them its our bread everyday.

The pathetic english translation, Tri-Beam, doesn't help either.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Whatever shape his hands form, they don't form a square or a rectangular. During the 22nd second tournament, it made sense that Tenshinhan would limit the area of the attack to a square shape, because the arena was squared, but in other situations, there's no real point to it, and it seems weird that the technique would just happen to always be squared in terms of its area of effect. But it looks cool.

Am I the only one who finds it funny how Goku gave the middle finger to the entire cast (save Gohan, though even that's a bit of a stretch) when he responded to Gohan's comment with "No Gohan we haven't gone in yet?" Makes ya wonder if he was being his usual, idiot self or if he actually meant to say it like that.

Actually ever since Goku woke up from being sick, he seemed to return to his pre-Namek not-so-retard but with cocky remarks self, specially during this episode.

Makes sense consider Mr. Popo suspected he was mispronouncing "Hyperbolic Time Chamber" on purpose.

In Namek he was in his best phase: Silly, funny and yet serious

Maybe his Naruto and One Piece dreams played a role in this? XD

Headcanon confirmed. Goku suffered severe brain damage during the fight with Vegeta (he hit his head so hard he started remembering stuff that happened in Evolution). This persisted all the way up until the coma, where his constant screaming and lack of oxygen killed off the bad brain cells, leaving a freshly healed Goku slightly smarter than he was during the Namek stuff.

Or turning into a Super Saiyan made him smarter, I dunno, I think that's what the show was going for back when it happened.

I know this is random, but can anyone happen to tell me what song plays in Abridged ep. 31, when Krillin confronts Marron (~7:59)?

Oh, a thread for TFS Abridged? Hmmm...

Please, no more Yamcha hate. At this point, Yamcha's reputation is irreparable due to your content, but hopefully, you guys shedding some positive on him can SLIGHTLY help.

Also, you're series is pretty cool, I admit. My personal favorite season was the Frieza Saga. My secolnd favorite was the first season. The humor seems like it can appeal to both DB and non-DB fans alike, balancing between general comedy and fan/DB related comedy. The only issue I see is excessively reusing jokes. Its okay to have running gags and catchphrases, but I feel that too many of them are present and a few of runninf gags to begin with aren't really that funny. Other than that, this series is a really good time-killer, and is a good source for lifting my mood a bit.

Yamcha was treated as a joke LONG before TFS entered the scene. His death pose is a meme in Japan!

Throwing him a bone isn't going to salvage his reputation among the casual fanbase, and TFS have no responsibility to do so.

Mocking him isn't hate either. TFS mock a lot of the characters. Kuririn arguably gets it worse than Yamcha, because he's also made an idiot on top of getting punked all the time.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Never said they have responsibility to do so. They said to give feedback. Part of feedback is constructive criticism or what can be done to make it better in the critic's eyes.

Also, Krillin has been getting the easier end of the stick in the Android/Cell Sagas lately. Yamcha has been getting it tougher since then. And maybe hate isn't the right word. I know they make jokes about everyone, but Yamcha gets treated like a loser. Its not a matter of being a joke, but a mstter of being treated poorly or like a loser. Also see this: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/forum/viewtop ... &start=100 Feel free to read multiple pages of that thread.

They will probably throw some kind of bone to Yamcha later. But it's not really that much feasible to expect much. The source material is already threating Yamcha like crap. Like, Yamcha did absolutely nothing in Z excluding filler. He just died a couple of times or jobbed around.

TFS would need to create custom footage from scratch or edit something to even have a possibility of redeeming Yamcha.

Your criticism was just to make Yamcha look better because you are a fan of the character. And you ask this of a parody series.

Be thankful Yamcha doesn't have his own "Owned Count" like Kurrin or else he would be close to where Kurrin is atm.

...or maybe I'm under-thinking things here.

I honestly don't know what I'm looking forward to more, the next episode of DBZ Abridged, finally getting to Super Android 13, or maybe seeing The Worlds Strongest redone like The Dead Zone was (though I doubt that one's coming soon).

So you'd prefer something like...

Yamcha: *walking up to Beerus* What is it that makes the gods so great? Are humans so wretched in the eyes of the gods? Yet...humans try their best to live their lives to the fullest! If you aren't hear to protect those who try to live, why are you a god? You should forgive us and wrap us with warmth. Isn't that what gods are for?! If they don't have love for mankind, what purpose do the gods serve? I DON'T NEED SUCH GODS!

Beerus: *hand held out with energy* Mankind will never be able to reject their own gods.

Yamcha: Even if mankind is stupid and doomed to be destroyed by the the gods, only one blow will be enough for me. I'm going to pierce his body with my fist! This shall be proof that mankind has lived on this Earth! *powers up, leaping into the air*

Beerus: Disappear, human. *fires blast as Yamcha flies down to punch Beerus in the face*

Oh well, Tohru Furuya had the privilege of saying those words to a god, even if Yamcha didn't.

Hopefully at least main timeline Yamcha won't kill himself...hopefully...>_>

Hey Kaiser, I had a quick question for you, if you'd be so inclined. I know you guys don't like to talk about future plans a lot, for obvious reasons, but I was wondering - how exactly would you envision you guys handling a character like Jaco? Any material he's in is soooo far away, if you guys ever handled any material he's in at all that is, that plans would likely change before you got there anyway - so I can't help but be curious.

I'd almost imagine him being played pretty straight, given the already ridiculous (in a good way) nature of the character. ...Of course the mind also boggles at the 'fun' you'd have with an animated adaptation of Dragon Ball Minus. :P
