Trunks' outfit looks nice. I showed that screenshot of him and Goten to my friend who knows nothing about DB and she said "wow, this kid is really cool. The other is a bumpkin, right?"
Well, he IS the most fashionable character according to Toriyama.
So, is being a farmer really that hard for Goku? SSJ? Seriously? Can't you handle something as simple as that? Saiyans are so dumb. -__-
Vegeta should consider getting a job, too. Just for the lols since that would be unnecessary.

Only downside I have is that I already saw the epilogue, so I know how the DBZ ends (and also abruptly because of GT, instead of full manga ending).

This. Goten is literally nothing but 50% of Gotenks. I want to see him fight on his own. Fight, not some stupid dinosaur adventures.

I put together all the Hey! Son Goku and Friends Return!! character designs (?) into an album - http://imgur.com/a/0QckT - I wonder how many of these will be reused for Super.

Either way, I'm so happy that Goku's farmer outfit is making a return in some capacity. That scarf is absolutely fabulous.

After giving myself time to process this (I was angry at first), I've come to the conclusion that there is no way this is set before ROF. The callback to the jump special (even satan has a similar outfit) makes me think these shots are from that time period. I think the first episode is recalling an event that happened at that time. Perhaps the bottle trunks and goten have contains some kind of ancient evil that they may accidentally have unleashed. Maybe they lose that bottle? Then we jump ahead to after ROF and see how those actions created a new villain. I also think this because Beerus wouldn't have been awake before ROF.

It makes no sense for people to see ROF in theaters and then set the show back to a time period before or even after BOG. I think the first episode is going to catch everyone up on events since buu was defeated.

At least I hope. I don't think that it will be set after uub though in the end, which is a bummer. I'd rather see that then just after ROF.

I want to see Goten grow up and go on dates like in GT. You know character progression for anyone not named Goku(Who regressed) and Vegeta (Same old shit).

I fucking love it, I can't wait to see the opening with this song. It's much better than the Dragon Ball Kai/Heroes opening, the voice of Takayoshi Tanimoto is annoying as hell.

Come on by now you should expect anything and everything to get hated on, if it isn't then they must be doing something wrong! But anyway yeah I liked it too. Much better then any of the Buu Kai openings by far.

I get why people are upset. I don't want to just see what happened in between EoZ and ROF because you know what happens in the end. If it took place after EoZ, there are tons of new characters and we can see what Goku does with Uub from Toriyama's perspective. We can see how Vegeta and Goku progress from the last few episodes of Z. Because otherwise it's just filler. Ultimately, to move forward truly, they have to keep going. I would watch these characters even if they were 80. They can do amazing things, no matter what age. They also have dragon balls which could return them to their youth if they so desired or needed to. I could see a storyline where they need help but need the others at their prime and wish them back to their youth. Goku and Vegeta both will be in their prime longer but they can't do everything alone. They couldn't even beat Buu without Mr. Satan's help!

Really I am worried they won't do post EoZ, which would be a shame.

^ They would get upset in every single episode anyway. It's unavoidable nowadays on Internet, no matter what show you watch.
Which is why simply not checking this section that will just repeat expected complains over and over again is a solution, once episodes start to air.
One interesting/fair comment out of ten whiny comments is not worth it.

Same thing with the E3 this week, with every single comment will be what you expect whining-wise. People really like some Goku influence in their lives, being more like early-Vegeta. You can actually imagine Vegetas all over the web behind thousands of screen.

It's like coming to a party where everybody will not dance but stay in the corner saying "the music sucks, I don't like the guests, what kind of place is it to hold a party anyway and why did I come already?". I I don't know about you, but if I know that beforehand, I will sure ditch that party for another one!

So that he can lose his chemistry with Trunks like in GT, with the two of them being shown hanging around mostly during one of the ending credits and that's it?
No thanks, let the boys live their JD-Turk Scrubs-like bromance while they still can, we need a few more years of that since we only had the one Boo saga to enjoy their "supreme friends" duo, with nobody else superseeding each other in each other's minds for now.

Minus is average. There really musn't much of story told, but there wasn't much time to do so, anyway. EOB, on the other hand, is pure garbage.
