Maybe all Gods of Destruction look like Beerus just with slight designs changes

They whole parallel universe thing would be dumb, they should be their own universe with whole different races.

Maybe they are, maybe the first God they introduce is similar to Beerus to ease the viewer into it.

Races in the Living Realms sure, but Deities can be of the same race/kind, why not.

Female Whis
Krillin with hair
Goku and Vegeta in pre-RF outfits.

For the most part I like it, but it's still difficult to tell when this takes place.

And I doubt they'd give us twelve different versions of the same thing for different universes. I think this should be more of a big brother or something. I'm still excited either way.

I'm perfectly fine if this beginning arc takes place during the "Battle Of Gods" time period, but hopefully future arcs can go past the epilogue. I want to see Pan in action again!

Yanami Jouji is returning at the Narrator!

And Yūko Minaguchi's back as Videl! HOORAY FOR EVERYTHING! That puts two fears to rest. I wonder if Yanami will reprise Kaiō, but as long as he's involved in some way, I'm golden. And it looks like everybody else is back, too! So everyone who was worried that Toei might pull a Sailor Moon and dump everyone but Nozawa can rest easy.

Did any new staff members get revealed on the site, Jacob? Anybody worth getting excited over?

Still can't wait to hear your thoughts on the newly-revealed staff for Digimon Adventure Tri, BTW.

The staff is still the same, including Yamamuro Tadayoshi as the character designer. We still don't know who is the series organizer (head writer, basically) so that's another thing to worry about. There wasn't a series organizer credited for most of the 1986 series, though, so maybe things can work out. Then again, there were two series directors for that series and more time available to the staff.

As for Digimon Adventure tri., I am surprised to see Kagawa Hisashi involved. I hope he brings along a lot of good animators along with him, especially if he is a 'main animator'--a credit Toei Animation almost never uses.

Indeed. They might have Kaios and all that. Maybe the cat like creatures are of a "Destruction God Race".

We already have alternate timelines for the same stuff. Let's keep the 12 universes "spheres/balls" with separate inhabitants.

I guess the first arc will fill in the gap between BoG and Resurrection F, explaining what led to Vegeta getting his God powers and he and Vegeta training with Whis.
