So is anyone really pleased with the animation quality? It looks just like Battle of Gods!

There are some noticeable problems, like Goten's thumb/figures and Trunks' hand looks kind of weird, but I was expecting it to look a lot worse, so yeah I am very pleased.

Isn't Beerus called Beers in the original Japanese? I think they will continue them in alcoholic puns, there are a lot of alcoholic beverages too.

I see, thank you. I googled Beerus and came across an article you guys did on just his name! (How did I ever miss that!) So the original intent was a pun on Virus so I guess they could flutter between disease and alcohol to find the best sounding names. Cool.

When it comes to promotional posters like these announcing a series, do they usually include the main villain as part of it? Because if so, then fat Beerus is most certainly a villain. If not, he could simply just be another major character who is a good guy and they're keeping the villain a secret. But him spinning the Earth on his finger really makes it seem as though he is a villain.

For now, it makes two to three costumes to add to games with DLC and updates: cute Goten and stylish Trunks as the minimum, and perhaps even farmboy Goku (but that's optionnal as he isn't featured on the poster, so he will likely ditch this costume very quickly, as soon as he has a new training/battle to go through).

Well this is interesting. I hope it isn't a parallel universe scenario, it isn't my favorite thing personally. I would rather have the other Universes unique. That "fatBeerus" could be a sibling that opens up Beerus backstory, we know very little about this new realm and gods. The Lady Whis could be an attendant of another Universe, there to open de facto the others. Like some people said this new Beerus is probably a stepping stone for Goku and Vegeta.

Super being set between BoG and FnF makes me fear this will be a short series with no more than 26 episodes, instead of a long running one like most of us were expecting.

I'm all for quality over quantity, but damn, this is the first TV series we have after almost two decades, I'll be disappointed if DBS doesn't have at least the same length as GT.
