One Piece: 3D2Y had quite a few very talented key animators, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some drain, especially if it has a talented animation supervisor helping boost the quality of the cuts.

Speaking of Fat Boo, I'd want him to be a relevant fighter since he's in the cover... but so are Satan and Videl. Gohan looks like he'll be playing a minor role, too. Kuririn looks like he'll play a bigger role, but it's Kuririn so of course he unfortunately won't. Piccolo was featured just as much as Vegeta, so maybe this means something?

Yeah, I hope Boo gets to fight a lot. Well, he still has to protect Satan, so that may be a given.

Something I thought about was the new origin Toriyama gave him. If Boo is some kind of natural force of nature, wouldn't it be logical to think that every Universe has a Boo-like creature? Maybe this could get referenced in Super or maybe become a plot point.

I guess I'm in the boat of people that feel disappointed this is looking to be another insert into the "10 years of peace". That just creates so many limitations and soooooo much missed opportunity. If the whole series is going to remain before EoZ, then they can't use the DBs more than 8 times max, no characters can be introduced/disposed of that would interfere with the end, things either can't change significantly or must be completely undone to make sure everything matches up, and many other limitations. We're long overdue for a female ssj and a main fighting cast member that's not a saiyajin; Pan and Uub would be the perfect candidates, but now we probable won't see them at all (or one just as a baby and never beyond). Plenty of other missed opportunities. Why stick to the dumb ten years of peace? I remember one supposed reason being the certain characters are getting "old". Well, Kuririn, Mr Satan, Bulma, and Chichi seem to be the only ones showing any signs of aging, and none of them are really all that relevant by that time. Even then, if old characters getting old is a problem, then they could just have Bulma do what she said at the end of the manga and wish for the aging characters to be back in their prime. Problem solved.
I can only hope this series does progressively move ahead past the EoZ, otherwise it will just feel like a stale story that never goes anywhere.

There's so much potential with both Buu and Piccolo. Both characters potentially have large amounts of power that have not yet been tapped into. I could see either of them returning with prominence.

Unfortunately for Gohan, we've already seen some of his better moments when he was wielding his Ultimate power. Therefore, it'd be quite amazing to see him make that spectacular return that Gohan fans have been highly anticipating.

Nothing is confirmed until it's outright stated. But it does seem like it will take place before F. At least during the beginning.

It's possible we'll eventually get a time-skip, but for now I'm almost-certain we're post-BOG, pre-F.

Interestingly, Gohan and Videl's summaries say nothing about Pan (as far as I can tell, but I could be wrong).

It really doesn't make sense to have the whole series before ROF. In ROF wasn't it stated that Beerus was asleep the whole time? And didn't Whis tell Vegeta that he was a life form known as Whis, which would mean Vegeta never saw the girl Whis before? Also the whole thing with a new villian being stronger than Freeza should mean that it's after ROF as well, since that's when they fought him. I think all this official artwork and stuff is most likely going to be the first few episodes or even just the first episode. They're probably going to show how Goku and Vegeta got to train with Whis and a few other things (maybe newborn Pan?)

Crunchyroll could get it too - and i hope they do, as i prefer their subs and quality.
Anyway, simulcasts are usually announced very close to the release date, sometimes even after the show started. I think we won't hear anything about it until July..

I've been told at A-Kon that Funimation does not want to do a simuldub since they can't get the whole cast to dub it weekly and they want to have the dub be good as possible when they air on Toonami. I would not expect a English dub until early 2016.
