It's on one of the V-Jump scoop boxes below the Super splash art/poster. There are only two new characters there, and one of them is pretty distinctly feminine in appearance and the text uses a masculine term. So, via the process of elimination...

I think that's the direction they're going, really. What we know as fact already contradicts the movie, this new potential summary is just icing on the cake at this point.

Uuumm... I'd say she must be similar of a name if Whis is somewhat similar to Beerus. I can not make a cool name up right now, though.

I think that's the direction they're going, really. What we know as fact already contradicts the movie, this new potential summary is just icing on the cake at this point.

Really, what exactly does contradict the movie? I read the Herms' summary, but that can be a complementary part for the film. Maybe that part was already made up by Toriyama but didn't get the chance to incorporate it back then. Even if he didn't make that up then, I can easily accept that Beerus didn't go strait to King Kai to know about the Super Saiyan God, knowing that Beerus is forgetful he kinda might need additional hints to remember Super Saiyan God's name, that's in his character.

Which is downright idiotic thing to do. They had a movie that was so successful and is likely why this series even got made and now it's contribution to the overall story isn't going to matter because it's just going to a be slightly different and condensed version of the "true" version shown in Dragon Ball Super. If that is what Super is going to do then who would want to watch Battle of Gods again after that when it's going to look like a cut version of the story?

There should be no reason whatsoever why they can't tie these movies in with the films rather than just turning them into some alternate version like the Path to Power movie.

I don't care if it's set pre EoZ or even pre BoG but I'd be very disappointed if they retold the story.

He does go straight to Kaio's planet after talking to the Oracle Fish, so the events from the Super must happen between his breakfast with Whis and his discussion with the Oracle Fish.

They're not retelling it or changing the story, they are just showing things that happened off screen.

So by the sounds of it, it is only pre-BoG for a short amount of time? I am cool with that. That explains why Goku is SS and everyone is in BoG gear. I wonder what they'll do when they catch up? Split BoG up into episodes? Then after that air pre"F" stuff?

I think it would be cool if they have some sort of cinematic universe, where it begins with Super, maybe one or 2 arcs, then Battle of Gods, then another 2 arcs, then follow it up with Resurrection F, and then the final 2 arcs and the final movie.

This. In the Battle of Gods it wasn't shown that Beerus went strait to Oracle fish. He wasn't even dressed up. So maybe Whis offered him to visit the planet because it's scheduled to be destroyed, and if it wasn't too far, then Beerus accepted with the condition that they will turn back and will find out about his dream.

Videl and Gohan are already married in Battle of Gods. This seems to be set much earlier, and events with Beerus are playing out completely differently.

We will probably see their wedding, which will happen before Beerus meets Goku.

Goku gets a job farming and gets money from Mr Satan -> Goten and Trunks find a present for Videl -> Beerus wakes up and talks to Whis about his dream -> The Kaioshins discuss Beerus -> Beerus visits a planet scheduled for destruction -> Gohan and Videl get married -> Goku goes to Kaio's planet to train -> Beerus returns home and talks to the Oracle Fish

It sounds like they're engaged in Super, but in Battle of Gods, they're married. Chichi refers to Videl as Gohan's wife.

Well, Bulma was important in almost every arc. When you compare her to female heroes from other classic shonen , she was quite prominent.
Hell, to this day people are often complaining about female characters don't getting fights, receiving poor treatment or needing rescue in One Piece, Naruto and others.

What does Bulma ever do? She rarely contributes to the story.

The people who complain about One Piece female characters are just a bunch of feminazi's who want all females to be superior to any male and look good no matter what.
The majority the females are very important to the plot, strong willed, and can hold their own in a fight. The majority of the people who needed to be rescued were male.
The female characters in Naruto are useless most of the time and badly written though.

Nah, there are only a couple of strong female characters in One Piece. Namely Catarina Devon,Charlotte Linlin and Boa Hancock. Maybe Tsuru, as well. Everyone else is either weak or shown to be completely useless. Good examples are Nami, Monet, Baby 5, Sugar, etc. Monet, the veteran of the New World under the direct command of Vergo,

Nami was scared of Monet, did close to no damage to her, Robin was bitten by Monet, and was turned into a toy by Sugar, because for some reasons, ruthless killer who lived most of her life assassinating people, couldn't kill a little girl who wasn't even a little girl at all (Sugar), but she at least

Bellmere, Kaya, Shirahoshi, Vivi (though I need to say, she is kind of an admirable person for getting from nothing to be a pair of 9th strongest rank in the whole Baroque Works organisation), Rebecca, Conis, Miss Valentine, Golden Week. I may say more for womans being majorly weakened for the sake of the plot. Nico Robin? Literally stopped the whole Straw Hat crew in a moment before even joining, easily stopped Tashigi, yet didn't have a proper fight since like... Skypiea. Didn't do anything to Monet. Nothing at all. Kalifa? The member of the strongest secret organisation of the World Government, was beaten by NAMI, who can't even fight without her magic wand, the same for Miss Doublefinger. Kuina? Beaten by stairs. Because plot. Monet? The calculating and smart person who never underestimated anyone. Was scared of some rookie, underestimated an opponent, because... plot. Sugar? The Member of the criminal organisation which is ruled by one of the strongest Shichibukais... Can't even fight. Boa Sandersonia? Boa Marigold? Sisters of Shichibukai? Who trained their haki since their childhoods? Who had zoan fruits? Were beaten by a rookie, who had zero use of haki.Okay. If anything, females in One Piece (besides a couple of obvious) are jokes now. Nothing more than that, the ones who are supposed to be smart and strong are made weak and stupid for the sake of the plot. And there is nothing more than that in One Piece.

There are also enough female characters in One Piece, who don't even have that strong of a will. Shirahoshi, being the best example. Vivi gave up her sincerety and kindness to follow Baroque Works, and even tried to kill Laboon, who Brook treasured so much. Robin completely gave up after failing once again in Alubarna, and if not for Luffy, she would have died. Kaya? Don't remember her being that strong at all. Viola? Became a criminal to save her dad. Killed, who knows, how many people. Rebecca? Was ready to die to get a fruit, not caring one bit about what her best friend (who was later revealed to be her father) thought and wanted. Didn't even attack her opponents... While wanted to kill Doflamingo. Okay.
