Amazon.co.jp has just cut the price from ¥52,500 to ¥31,500. To put it in English its going from (somewhere around) $450.00 to (somewhere around) $270.00. If you didn't get it before, jump on this motha effin ban wagizzle.

I would, but I don't have a region free DVD player & my job doesn't pay a salary good enough to even out my expenses.

I don't have a job, I can't buy stuff online as a result, I don't have a region free DVD player (Though I could hack it), and it's $310 due to the fact I'm Canadian. Still, it's a nice thought =P

The juicy part is, there are other copies of it being sold on there from as low as ¥ 26,000. Oooh. :D (What's that equate to in U.S. dollars?)

(EDIT) Hmm, nevermind. Apparently that's as low as 223 bucks in U.S. currency. xD

Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to afford it, either, even with all the cutbacks on the price. That and I probably won't have time to be watching them right now anyway, especially with all my college work in the way. D: Sad.
Art, etc. links taken down for now. Will be updated at some point. I dunno.

I NEED A NEW SIGNATURE D:

I can't believe it's come down so far, that's an amazing price. I'd snatch up in a second, but not being able to navigate the japanese writing on the website does pose a slight problem...

There's a bit of text right above that blue thingy that lets you switch the languages to English.

That's why you click that 'Would you like to see this page in English?' option in the upper-right of the Amazon.co.jp site ;p

I officially start my job Saturday. My first check goes to gifts for family and friends; I can't be selfish and get this for myself.. :( .. But yeah thanks for the heads up, Tanooki! Just curious: I remember you made a review thread about that FUNi boxset for the first three movies. Do you have the Dragonbox movie set now or are you planning on getting it later?

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Sweet. If this is still around the same price around mid-Jan to early-Feb, I'm definitely snatching this baby up. :D But sadly, Christmas and other expenses are eating up my earnings right now...
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

Okay...I'm in the process of ordering this now, but I'm on the last page now and their asking me for a "Prefecture". There's a drop-down list, filled with "ken's" and "Fu's". Do I need to be concerned about this?

EDIT: Nevermind, I think I was on the wrong page. It's been ordered, along with the Goku vs. Vegeta disc! Woo!

That price is unbelievable. If I had the money, I'd buy it right now without hesitation. But unfortunately, not everything goes the way I want it to.

That's an awesome deal, but I already have the FUNi DVDs and I'm satisfied with them, so I think I'll let this pass me by. I'm not much of an intense quality freak.

Yes, that is indeed a bootleg. If you want to get DragonBall cheaply your best bet would be to buy the official Australian box set. Part 1 is out and part 2 is coming in February. I got the first one for £47 including shipping. It's PAL so it will work with UK Televisions. You just need a region free player.

I hate to be a killjoy, but your grammar/spelling needs to be better or Mike will come down on you like a ton of bricks.

Damn, this is an excellent deal. It's dropped further in price now, so I'd definitely recommend it even moreso now.
