End of Z character Designs

Anyone think that EoZ had the best designs for most of the main cast? I know I'm pretty vocal on EoZ Goten's master design but I'm reading the last two chapters and last 3 episodes just to see the perfect design for all the characters. Better than BoG and RF character designs IMO(I don't like Vegeta's black amour thing in RF). I'm curious. Why exactly aren't these used more in media? They seem...forgotten? These are arguably the best the Z fighters EVER looked. Like damn these designs are awesomeawesome! Seriously why aren't they used?

Gohan and Goten looked the most awesome, as far as EOZ is concerned.

Sadly, they looked like shit in GT. No distinguishing features.

Goku's EoZ outfit is cool. Vegeta's okay.

Goten looks too much like Yamcha, while I'm all for Gohan's teen look, I'm not a fan of Nerd!Gohan, and I'm not a fan of Trunks.

They all looked terrible, except for Goku, imo.

I do like that Goten has a somewhat distinguishable look as opposed to being someone's clone though.

I really liked Gohan's design. I think it fit who he's become pretty well. I also liked how Trunks was beginning to resemble his future counterpart.

I liked Pan design :D
Everyone else don't look that great imo specially Bulma, and I don't like how Trunks looks there either.

Casual outfit for Vegeta is cool. Other character outfits are ok.

I like almost all the EoZ designs. Bulma's the only one out of those shown in your screenshots whose design I don't care for (it's mostly her hair >_< )
Conversely, I really like Chi-Chi's EoZ hair and wish it'd been her haircut for Super too.
Gokû's EoZ dougi is cute. (and matches his sweatsuit colors from BOG?)
I really like EoZ Pan's design in general.
I like Goten's EoZ hair (and that he keeps the orange and black for his dougi where Gokû was orange and blue). Also, wow, those shots just made me notice that Goten's EoZ dougi is identical to Gokû's EoZ dougi from F. (Different sash, same dougi?)
Both of Vegeta's EoZ outfits are good.

They look really good (IMO). I really like Goku's outfit, Vegeta with his jacket is cool as well, don't really care for his WMAT clothing however. Bulma looks great and so does Videl. Goten and Trunks look good, and Gohan's look is okay... Better than FnF.

Looking at this makes me miss DBO.
Trunks outfit seemed like it was based on Gotenks?? I don't know, it just reminds me of fusion.

I agree with your point, It saddnes me how we're in 2015 and STILL every videogame has to end at Kid Buu's defeat (and now eventually BoG). We haven't gotten any End of Z material since... Buu's Fury?

I love the EoZ designs! The worst I can say is that I don't love Bulma's design, but I don't hate it at all, and I'm sad Gohan lost his errant lock of hair and went for the Cell Saga Yamcha spiked look, but the glasses really make up for it and his clothes are pretty sharp without being too nerdy. I especially adore Goten's look and Trunks' casual outfit.

The only things about the End of Z designs that I don't really like:
  • --Kuririn's everything: His design arguably makes him look like he's twice as old as everyone else...
--Vegeta's tournament clothes: I know he can't wear armor in there, but I would have preferred the Buu Arc outfit again...
--Trunks' casual outfit: There's just something about that vest I don't like. Probably the shoulder poofs...
--Yamcha & Bluma's hair: Their outfits aren't too bad, but the hair makes them look older than they need to.
--18 & Videl's hair: Not horrible, I'm just not fond of them.

Am I the only one here who really likes the design of EOZ Bulma? :|

I really like Goku's EoZ outfit as well as the recolored GT version. It made him look like a true master, which he was by that point. EoZ Vegeta's Tournament outfit was just okay. Really it looked better suited to training rather than fighting. Krillin looked too old. Like someone else said Gohan's hair looked better with the one bang. It had been his signature look since he went SS2 at the Cell Games and they ditched it for the Yamcha look. I actually think EoZ Bulma looks much older than GT Bulma. Chi Chi's EoZ design was better than her Buu Saga and GT designs. It made her look less pissed off than normal. Videl looked fine. Goten looked sort of Yamcha like but cool enough I guess (Not that I have a problem with Yamcha's late DB/early Z look. It was his best look imo).

And Piccolo. Well... yeah.

When you think about it EoZ was literally the briefest era of the entire franchise. Going by the anime it only lasted 3 episodes until there was another 10 Year time skip, so it's only natural that it doesn't get that much attention.

I love these designs. They have an aspect of modernity while still being distinctive and colorful. GT's designs are very modern but too plain. The classic DBZ designs are obviously legendary, but when you think about it they've very "90s" and not modern. EoZ designs are the best except for Bulma and Chi-Chi's hairstyles, who do look less modern than their Beerus Saga designs.

I think that Bulma's EoZ look is fine considering that she's supposed to be a middle-aged woman by now, and I really like everyone else's designs, especially Gohan and Vegeta.

I don't know; I can kind see Vegeta being a pro-natural man after all these years. :D

I have to agree. I love how they look. Personally, I think the blue gi for Goku provides a better contrast for the black hair and Super Saiyan. Plus, having the colors of Earth fit Goku.

The reason I prefer the Dragon Ball fighters to superheroes is that they're just regular guys at the end of the day, and I think these outfits reflect that best.
