Whaaa... Trunks is only 1 DP?! I figured he'd at least be 3 or 4! :o

Oh neat it's coming to America... Kind of figured. Don't know why everyone wasn't expecting it in the first place. I mean haven't most modern Dragon Ball games come out in the US? The only exception I could think of would be Ultimate Butouden. Then again, I honestly know very little about the video game industry in the first place so I guess I could just be ignorant.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to it! I've played the heck out of Super Smash Bros 3DS (though I still suck... and I've only been playing alone because I don't have any friends and wifi sucks... ) and have been eagerly waiting for a new fighting game or Dragon Ball game to play! I'm not gonna lie, I'm still bitter about the whole support system thing and the general lack of decent openings in Dragon Ball video games, but I've gotten over it and have even started looking forward to the different variations that could come out of the support system! Hopefully there are online battles of some sort without terrible lag! : D

The game looks ok, but I think I'm still going to pick it up. All I have is Smash and Pkmn X on my 3DS. Gives me a reason to still play that thing.

Awesome! Now, about the unreasonably high amount of non-purchasable DLC.

The only true DLC so far are Gine and Jaco, the rest of the retailer exclusives can be unlocked in game with a code.

Great news! The character roster for this game is really impressive. :D
I take this over customization anyday-

I'm very pleased that they kept the original name. Hopefully we can get the original voices. *crosses fingers*

If we can't get the Japanese broadcast themes for the "Final Chapters" portion of Kai, this might be the only way to hear "Kuu-Zen-Zetsu-Go" on an official international release. Neat-o.

Man, this'll be my first Dragon Ball fighting game since... my imported version of Ultimate Battle 22? When I was twelve? Have I been out of the loop for that long?

Gotta say, I'm extremely hyped for this. I loved the SSW games, and seeing that this was a successor in many ways to those games (especially SSW2 with all the assists), I'm just glad to get another good handheld DBZ fighter.

I hope the stories are nearly as fun as the Ginyu and Gero stories from SSW1, or Ginyu in SSW2 as well (If only there was a picture of
...that would have made it perfect).

Anyways, I'm looking forward to it!
Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butouden (2011) for the DS was a similar game and was never published outside of Japan. I think that's where our nervousness came from. Also, Extreme Butouden seems like a hardcore nostalgia throwback to the Super Butouden games on Super Famicom that never got released on the Super Nintendo. With nothing to throwback to outside Japan, that might've been another source of our nervousness.

Glad you're excited for the game along with the rest of us!
