I wonder how they are going to handle Gine and Jaco, as well as SSGSS Goku. The former two are actual DLC and the latter, at least for now, requires save data from the demo and has no known button combo. So are we going to get a preorder bonus with all three? Will we get a demo for ourselves and it will just be Jaco and Gine? Curious...

Are those three the only ones we need to worry about? Everybody else has a button combo to unlock them?

I can see them making Jaco and Gine pre-order bonuses, unfortunately. And hey, this is going to be on the eShop; we might just get that demo.

I'm SO happy that we're finally getting a Dragon Ball game on 3DS outside of Japan. I was becoming afraid that the system's entire lifespan would go by with nothing but friggin' Heroes.

This game looks so nice and sounds so interesting with it's Story mode. I'm going to have to play it eventually. I like that Gine and Jaco are part of the game and the graphics look similar-ish to the Hyper DBZ MUGEN project. xD

I call my Gamestop on pre-ordering the game and they told me that they don't have the game in their listing yet for pre-orders :? . I think both this game and Fallout 4 will keep me busy in October.

So to anyone who has the game, do any of the characters have a move similar to this? Or at least have some chain follow-up special moves?

I agree, I can see a Jaco and Gine pre-order bonus for sure. Amazon already has the game up for pre-order, but we'd have to wait if there's any bonus content (Gine & Jaco) like they did for DB: Xenoverse's "Day 1 Edition" with SSJ4 Bejita and the "Frieza Armors."

Not sure about a demo, though, but I could be wrong. Just don't feel like they'd do it. Then again, there was a special Demo for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and we all know the Pokémon franchise is a helluva big deal, so. Overall, would be amazing if they did and we weren't handcuffed into pre-ordering for special bonus content ..

........... Not like I already didn't pre-order it from Amazon anyway. -____-

So I've been looking at some the Amazon pictures for Extreme Butoden and I'm a bit confused when it comes to DP.
So SS Goku has a DP of 1 while SS Vegeta has a DP of 5. I've always assumed that DP was something that was based
mainly on general stats of a character in terms of strength, speed, etc but it seems a bit odd that SS Goku would
have a DP of 1 given that his base form also probably has a DP of 1 or possibly even 2, 3, 4, 5, or whatever.
Is it just that SS Goku doesn't really have great stats to begin with? Does DP somehow decrease depending on
health? I remember earlier there was a basic character stats image here, and SS Goku didn't seem to be all
that different from SS Vegeta. Then again it did say Piccolo had no reach and yet had huge reach at the
same time... :wtf:

Edit: Just saw another pic where it shows base Goku with a DP of 3. Also here are the pictures so I don't make people dig through the forums.
Edit 2:
Personally it doesn't bother me too much in the long run if Base Goku is stronger than SS Goku. It's just something that strikes me as odd if that happens to be the case.
Oh, also if does anyone know what the DP of the other playable characters are and if there's a limit to the amount of total DP you can have for a team? I remember when I was younger I always wanted to make a random team of the strongest characters to play against the computer to boost my tiny ego but I couldn't due to the DP limit.

The game has to be one of the best games ever to even consider getting it digitally at full price.

I'm just not interested in digital at all.

Yea, not really sure what's going on with those Amazon photos. Could pertain to a game mode? Or maybe they're "beta/alpha" photos from testing before the game's actual release?

There's a YouTuber (no, not THAT one) that actually has the entire game, all game modes and such, completed and posted. "ShonenGameZ" .. From what I can tell, SSJ Goku has DP of 5, as well as Bejita. While base forms are 3.

Edit:
From one of his videos, using Broli, it appears DP is at least 20 for a team. Speaking of which, so far Broli has the greatest pre-fight animation EVER.

That actually makes a lot of sense regarding the whole Amazon pictures thing. I generally don't watch things like 'let's plays' so I guess the thought of watching gameplay footage on the Youtube never really crossed my mind. Man... I'm so behind the times when it comes things like these!

Trust me, I know how you feel. I remember when my first taste of Dragon Ball was on the back of EGM as figures and myself going, "Who the hell are all these blonde guys?"

I generally peep at LP videos for older games and nostalgia reasons. But that account was the only place I could find decent DB: Heroes UM2 stuff (another topic, extremely hateful/jealous over this) and couldn't help myself once EB footage got posted.

Hopefully this means we'll see Ultimate Mission 2 get a European and American release as well. I was planning on making an English patch for the game, but I may wait and see if anything gets announced.

I won't count on it. Extreme Butouden is a fighting game while the Ultimate Mission games are made to cash in on a arcade game in Japan. Not to mention the UM games are also made to help sell cards. If there is no Heroes arcade games in the US then the game is pointless. Not to mention pass DB card games sold poorly in the US.
