While I still don't know how strong Champa is, I guess we can assume he's at least as strong as Beerus. I wouldn't mind if Lady Whis was weaker than Whis but I can't deny I would feel dissapointed if she is said to be weaker than Beerus/Champa.

I definitely still expect her to be stronger than Goku or Vegeta. No question. Otherwise, I guess I would be a *little* mad. I just finished watching the original DB with my 9 year old niece (about to start Z) and she has already asked me several times why won't the girls fight... She had her hopes on Chichi and was more than a little disappointed she didn't actually helped to stop Piccoro's torture after he blasts the hole on his chest. She was fuming.
"Sweetie, Piccolo is much stronger than Chichi"
"So what! Goku is her boyfriend! She needs to try to save him!! I would!" >:(

I don't remember 17 or 18 being stronger than one another, but it might just be something I don't know.

My guess had more to do with muscle distribution each sex has. The actual reason is unfortunate. Would've liked them to be on even terms. Certainly didn't notice they weren't based on how they fought.

While muscle distribution is a factor in real life, given that...

A. We're dealing with planet-wrecking superbeings, and

B. 99.9999% of their power comes from ki...

...I don't think it should really affect DBZ fighters.

(I mean, consider: Even muscular-100% Frieza is smaller than 2nd/3rd form Frieza...for every LSSJ or whatever, you have an SSJG which is vastly stronger than any of the more-muscular SSJ forms...etc.)

Yeah that is what I think too. The line where Whis said he is a life-form called Whis makes it somewhat obvious and it would be a pretty funny gag too.

I said this before, but I think it's extremely possible that the new villians will appear after a ROF time skip. Why? Because when Vegeta asks Whis what he is, he says he's a life form named Whis. That would mean Vegeta hasn't seen girl Whis yet. Although I could be completely wrong and they could retcon ROF, which would be really stupid in my opinion since it just came out.

Maybe Champa's name was revealed since he was next to Beerus and the poster made him look as relevant as him while Female Whis was small in comparison that not everyone noticed her at first...

After his comment in ROF saying he's a lifeform known as Whis, this doesn't surprise me. But I think Whis is just their race's name.
Champa being a Fat Beerus is disappointing though.

But oh my God. I was just joking around about Vegeta wearing earth clothes in that trailer, but I was right! Loving the blue jacket. His collar needs to be popped though, like with his brown jacket Just wow, though. New clothes for the cast. I can't wait to get a better look at the characters in their new outfits so I can draw them.

I knew everything that was going to happen, but not because of the internet but because here in Mexico we had several Anime magazines that told the whole thing. I bought a special issue with the complete plot.

It was like that here too in the US. Beckett DBZ did had a lot of spoilers for later DBZ episodes and GT. If you where watching the show on Toonami then the Beckett could spoil things for you. They had a timeline of the events of DBZ and they spoiled that Goku kills Majin Buu.

I think it would be cool if they gave Goku new clothes too. I think him keeping his blue shirt is fine but that orange gi needs to go and they should replace it with an orange vest something like this. Would be cool to see this being his new fighting clothes.

It's a very-tiny-barely-visible spot on the guidebook cover. It's what looks like a dark blue jacket over a white shirt.
