Ultimate Mission is a self contained game, you don't need the arcade or physical cards, all the cards can be unlocked in game. It's also very different from the other card games; I hated the previous card games, but I find UM very addictive and fun.Hellspawn28 wrote:I won't count on it. Extreme Butouden is a fighting game while the Ultimate Mission games are made to cash in on a arcade game in Japan. Not to mention the UM games are also made to help sell cards. If there is no Heroes arcade games in the US then the game is pointless. Not to mention pass DB card games sold poorly in the US.UpFromTheSkies wrote:Hopefully this means we'll see Ultimate Mission 2 get a European and American release as well. I was planning on making an English patch for the game, but I may wait and see if anything gets announced.

But I digress. This thread is for EB, which is coming here and we can all be thankful for that. Hopefully, they allow the option for Japanese voices as in several other western released Dragon Ball games.

So is it basically confirmed that Gine's support comes in the form of beating the shit out of your opponent's with food, because...

That is 'beating meat' to a whole new level.

Does that scan say anything about that (Gine being able to attack with meat), or were you just saying that based on the picture? I'm only asking because when I summon her in the game, she just holds it out and you can touch it for a minor health refill (even your opponent can, similar to Korin's assist). Would be interesting if she could attack as well.

Wow seriously? I think she needs some lessons on healing from Dende.Rad Raddish wrote:Does that scan say anything about that (Gine being able to attack with meat), or were you just saying that based on the picture? That's just your typical marketing for Dragon Ball games in Japan.

But yeah as far as I know she just "feeds" you. This is the first place I've ever heard where someone said/thought she attacked.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

Ah, okay, thanks! That's a pity, was hoping there was more to her assist.

It was hard to tell from the pic, but I guess it does make sense since Gine isn't much of a fighter like Gohan. Can't help but wonder how good her cooking is though. It's a reference to her job in meat distribution. I don't know if she even cooks it. I'd have to go back and read DB- again but I don't think there's any mention of the meat being cooked. If anything Saiyans probably just use their ki to cook.

Well they have to prepare their meat SOMEHOW. Tastes better when it's cooked. XDThe S wrote:It's a reference to her job in meat distribution. I don't know if she even cooks it. Goku cooks a wolf over the fire, so they probably don't eat raw meat like some species do.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!
Re: Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden (3DS)
Guys you seen the Facebook page. We are getting a New 3DS Bundle with cover plates that look amazing. Also we are getting Super Butoden 2 but... it's untranslated.

For fuck's sake. This just irritates me more that the US isn't getting the regular New 3DS.
Re: Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butouden (3DS)
Hmm, Europe is getting Super Butoden 2 but in Japanese only.
I guess it's not too bad a solution given how horrible the original French translation was (weird names and non-gramatical sentences all over the place).
And it was to be expected that they would not retranslate it since it is merely a bonus.
The story mode and its choices are still gonna be a mess for those who didn't own the original game in French back then.
Expect the same in the US: if you get Super Butoden 2 as a bonus, it will likely be entirely in Japanese, they won't bother to translate a bonus port.
