Gohan was 11 when he faced Cell + 7 years time skip... 18 years old. Videl should be the same.

So it appears we will get a retelling of both movies and a possible omission from the 2008 OVA?

I'm OK with that. I just hope that line about Freeza > Base Saiyans is kept so people still freak out.

I'm ok dumping blueper. Only thing I liked about it was how it looked on Vegeta. That was literally it.
Ssjg at least isn't a recolor.

Blueper'll probably stay once they get to redoing F though. Sounds weird to type that when it's not even out on home release yet .

I honestly don't see why they'd do RF as part of Super, nothing important happened.

I doubt they would remove Bluper Saiyan mode, they may skip Frieza's resurrection but not bluper thats for sure. If I remember correctly there were bluper saiyan mode toys with the title Dragon Ball Super on it.

You're basing this on nearly zero information. For all we know there might be a timeskip within the next few episodes, or this might be a parallel universe, or this is a fudged up time line that Trunks will have to fix, etc. This baseless speculation about Toei dumping the last two films is absurd.

It's not zero information and it all lines up, Beerus is awake and doing stuff before he is reminded of Super Saiyan God, Gohan and Videl are getting married, Champa appears to be important in the first arc, and now we know it starts 6 months after Buu.

Due to this being set very shortly after Buu,Gohan wouldn't have had enough time to get weaker so do you think he'll have his Ultimate form in this ?
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Yes. There's a manga cover where he appears to be in his Ultimate form.

The Jump special takes place two years after the Boo arc. So, if they change the date they'll have to place right after the Boo stuff, right?

They could re-write it from scratch as an arc instead of a one shot family reunion.

Gohan was 9 then. He was 16 after the timeskip. The manga blatantly stated this.

I don't see how that matters in the least bit. The form hasn't had an in-story use outside of Dragon Ball Kai in twenty years. There's nothing that says anyone cares about whether or not Gohan's special God-given form places him ahead of the pack. Gohan will still lose battles, Gohan will still have no character development through battle and Gohan will still use Super Saiyan as his main form.

Yes. There's a manga cover where he appears to be in his Ultimate form.
Hopefully he does but with the author adding Ssjg Goku in the movie's tie-in he might have done the same with Gohan here.

I don't see them getting rid of the Blue SSj forms. They are brand new and it would be pointless to ditch them right now. I can see them being use when Super is set after ROF and before EOZ.

Gohan was born on May, AGE 757.
The Majin Buu saga was on May, AGE 774. +1 year on the ROSAT = 18 years.
