Still how could Super dragonballs even exist in another universe without nameks, unless the dragonballs are somewhat a universal symbal in which case two sets exist in our world, because.... WE RULE!!! (Or there are nameks in universe 6 too.)

So what can we take from this? Universe 7 travels to Universe 6, there are going to be "lots of new characters" in Universe 6, "Super" Dragon Balls... Anything else?

Without full translations (and maybe even with them), the only big missing detail is confirmation that Battle of Gods and Resurrection F are being adapted into TV arcs.

Well that was... Something! I like the Universe traveling idea. The only thing That bugs me at all is that the two movies are just getting made into arcs. I'll be fine with it though as long as it leads all the way to EoZ and consumates Z.

We already have a set of new dragon balls and I guess Champa and Lady whis come from there... so I wonder if we are actually going to get the other versions of our characters. ?? chuquita!! I'm going to go ahead and mark my place here because I expect this thread to be much bigger by morning. I'm begging you, people, please don't chat-room this thing. I'm still having bad "Resurrection 'F' Thread" flashbacks.

Not very crazy about the "past two movies being remade into arcs" part, but I'm very excited about the "journey to the universe next door" part. Hopefully the whole cast is along for the ride, allowing everyone to meet worthy opponents and get equal spotlight.

I can get behind the Gods of Destruction and their assistants all being similar in design and name, but I really don't like the idea that the other universes have similarities to what we've seen so far, like the Dragon Balls and such. I get that they have to be somewhat similar, probably have aliens with two legs, two arms, two eyes, but... I'm just not into the whole alter-ego cast thing if they go that direction.

Can totally see alternate Goku having defeated princess Vegeta twice being jealous of her.

I totally agree. Particularly, alternate universe versions of the Z fighters would be a letdown for me. Just sounds too boring and fanfictiony to me. I'm all for completely new characters.

Despite the fact that the new series pretty much using the same concept of going into a new world to get 'super' dragon balls, that they are redoing the Battle of Gods and Resurrection F movie, and that there's the chance that the other universes are just different versions of the same world, I just can't help but be totally hyped! I'm crazy excited about this. I don't even know why!

I really think they are going to get different characters. Like Goku could be female but the didn't get amnesia is going to be an alternate timeline rather than an alternate universe.

Maybe they could get creative and retell the BOG and ROF arcs in universe 6, that way they don't have to play out exactly the same way. Maybe when Goku travels to universe 6 the timeline for the Goku there is just after buu is defeated.
