It honestly depends entirely on the iteration of Superman they use. Most of them Goku stomps. The only ones he doesn't are the versions of Superman that are themselves utterly ridiculous. One of the many reasons I don't like him. There's a billion versions many of which are poorly written, and he's such a situational character. If not for sunlight he wouldn't be anything. He's battery man pretty much. Cool guy. Unlikable Super hero though imo. One of the reasons Goku is so awesome is that he always pushes himself to grow. If Clark wants to get stronger he can go lay out on the beach for 15 minutes :p

It looks like they've gone with DC 52 version of Superman as well. I don't know if SSGSS will be included in their or not though.

This is really pointless. I wish DB fans would admit that there are other characters stronger then Goku. It's okay for other characters in the series to be stronger then Goku, but when someone else from a different fictional series is stronger then Goku, fans will be super pissy about it.

The first fight was the series 25th fight and last fight of Season 1. The next episode after this Dr Doom vs Darth Vader fight was the 50th fight and end of Season 2.

So it's fitting I suppose to end the season on the most anticipated fight.

I'm betting Goku wins. Not because of feats or new powers but simply because then they could do a tie breaker match for the 75th or 100th episode.

That's a good point actually. They could definitely have Goku win this match to set up a third and decisive battle on the 100th episode, to make that episode seem more special.

Last time it was just before BoG, and people complained and begged for a rematch, and now they're doing it 12 days after the new show start, and the same thing will happen if Superman wins again. And this time its worse, because if they use New 52 Superman, all the die hard DC fans will just complain and say Post Crisis would still win.

Yeah but who knows when Super will end? And then maybe there will be another movie, and then maybe when all of that is done maybe a new major event will be going on in Superman comics or another reboot to DC and so on and so on... So why bother waiting when they can just make multiple videos and cash in now.

Goku should be a lot stronger this time around than he was in the previous fight. If they do go with a different version of Superman, most likely the New 52 version, well I'm not familiar with him but isn't he weaker?

I wonder how they'll judge his strenght and speed this time.

They probably won´t do it , they said " Goku vs Superman will be over", implaying that no more battles will be done but, if Gokus does win i will be absolutely happy . (and they should )

New 52 Superman is weaker than Post Crisis. Right now stat the moment he lost some powers (can't fly) so he ain't powerful.
