No, this is not confirmed. It's not necessarily an all-inclusive list that was stated. We do not have 100% concrete statements about how long it will last, all the types of arcs, etc.

Quite frankly, they're probably making it all up as they go (just as Toriyama originally did with the manga).

If a slice of life episode has nothing to do with the main plot, and can literally be skipped and you lose nothing, then yes it's filler. If it builds on character somehow, then it ain't filler. I don't count just seeing Goku use a tractor, building his character at all.

Neither DB or DBZ started with a major fight. Nowadays, people have the habit to call filler to everything they don't like, but in reality they are just using the term in a wrong way.

Toriyama can do whatever we wants. Super could be just comedy and slice of life, no fights at all. He doesn't own us anything and this would still be canon.
Now if people would accept it or not, that's other thing that depends of each one of us. But he already said he will do whatever he wants.

Doubt toei would support Toriyama if he made Super and entire comdedy/slice of life series. It's a battle shonen, that's Dragon Ball at it's core. Also canon?

Also yes filler can still exist. Or as some people like to call it padding. I doubt Toriyama will be writing every scene and every little thing. Without a doubt some scenes will probably be filler/padding made by Toei til they get to whatever Toriyama's story is. They'll definitely pad out whatever his script is. If a scene has absolutely no relevance to the plot or characters, IE just characters doing random shit, then it's filler/padding.

1.) The misuse of the term "filler" irks me greatly. It's the same way in the Pocket Monsters fandom. If one of the main characters has the audacity to not capture a Pokémon in any given episode... "God, I'm so sick of this filler!"

2.) How anyone could be potentially annoyed by the premise that episode two's title suggests is beyond my comprehension. Action for action's sake isn't entertaining. For decades, we've been begging for some of this "everyday life" character stuff. Do not ruin this for us.

That being said, no, there is likely no-one on the production staff will pay any mind to opinions on where the story is heading and take that into consideration, whether that be here or anywhere else.

Really? But Kanzenshuu had already translated episode title for episode 2.

More of the plot:
"As for Goku, he's training on Kaio's planet. The x10 gravity there is ideal! Without any kind of consideration for Kaio being possibly bothered by this or not, Goku started to train. But what is that new training method?!"

Again, I don't translate directly from the Japanese since I don't understand it, I translate back to English thanks to the French translation.
So it's not an ideal translation, but enough to give you guys an idea until a better translation comes up.
